  1. Straight up. Fuck Georgia. Beat their asses.
  2. How are y'all misinterpreting me saying get freshman WR reps = getting them the ball? No. Just no. No one expects Lockett, Ffrench, Terry III, or McCutcheon to be Jeremiah Smith/Rysn Williams/Bryant Wesco Jr, Cam Coleman. What I'm saying is get them on the field in an environment to learn to play at the speed of the game, learn their routes, move the DB away from the intended WR, block, and learn to play against their peers, while the older WR's get the ball. And if the younger guys do, great! But that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying those teams play freshmen to get them game time and game environment experience so they can take that next step next season. No one (I hope) expects a Carnell Tate, or any of the other aforementioned. Just get them on the field for blocking, router, etc. There are so many more things a WR needs to learn than catch pass, make TD. I'm only doing recent HC or currently still at their school for impact players, and if any RS amounted to anything. Since Ryan Day has become HC in 2019, he has not redshirted a single WR or RB. Even Urban Meyer famously said they don't redshirt there. Ohio State - None. No WR or RB has had a RS That's the team we should aspire to be. I don't care about Day, but I like him not RS-ing any of his skill players so they can get action, even if not even catching a pass. And by "aspire" I mean no RS, even play 2 times a game, wgaf? Just get them experience. They seem to be doing just fine with their WR's not getting a RS. Same as RB. Alabama - Nick Saban rarely redshirt any WR'S, but the ones he did didn't do anything, or transferred, and the only RB he ever redshirted was Eddie Lacy. USC - Since Riley got there, only one notable WR was a redshirt, and it's Xavier Jordan, and so far he's done nothing. King Miller is the only RB who was a RS who has done something. Everyone else transferred. Aggy - since 2017 (Jimbo hired) only Ashton Bethel-Roman was a redshirt who was an aggy commit, and RB Amari Daniels. Both seem mid, but whatever. Concepcion did while ar NC State, but I don't count him. Jerome Myles (five-star) Is out for the season with injury, so that's more injury than needing a RS. Of the RS guys, only Bethel-Roman has made any kind of impact. No, Mario Craver did not RS at Miss St, in case you're wondering. Clemson - Antonio Williams had to RS due to multiple injuries, but he did not RS as a freshman. Mike Williams had to RS due to breaking his neck the first game of the season in 2015. No RB's who turned out to be good were redshirted Penn State - No "name" WR was a RS. No Penn State "name" RB was a RS Georgia - No "name" Georgia WR's were a RS. Only Zamir White was a redshirt since 2016 (Kirby's first year). Cash Jones was a walk-on. Oregon - No "name" WR has redshirted under Lanning. No RB'S were a RS since 2021 (Lanning first year) Auburn - no WRs RS'd. No RBs have been RS'd (since 2022 Hugh Freeze coach) Florida - see above These aren't some isolated cases, either. It's become more common due to wanting to get guys on the field for experience, game day action, learning what they're taught, or if need be, get them out of the door quicker.
  3. No, you're missing the forest for the trees. I'm simply saying get them reps. Not play the entire game, or even get 3 catches, but at least get them on the field to block. More goes into getting on the field than catching passes and TD's. They have to learn to be a teammate, block, build comrade, understand where they need to be, draw the DB away from the intended receiver, and so on. Yeah, catching passes and TD's are cool, but we need them for other things, too. They need to go against their intended peer group (aka the opponent who also has five-stars and high to mid four-stars) so they can see how they match up and what they need to work on (the coaches seeing this to get them better and more ready). There won't be another Jeremiah Smith for a decade, and as for Dakorian Moore, he's been good, but he's not Jeremiah Smith or even Ryan Williams. Right now Dakorian Moore has less yards than Wingo did, and Wingo wasn't even the main target, it was Bond and Golden, then Wingo. He was the third WR on the depth chart. Moore is supposed to be their Jeremiah Smith/Ryan Williams/Bryant Wesco Jr/Cam Coleman, while Wingo is supposed to be WR1 this season, not his frosh season with the transfers. So far he has looked like it the last few games.
  4. @South Austin Come get your mom!
  5. I don't know why ND's volleyball team doesn't just donate their knee pads to the committee?
  6. Wingo played as a freshman out of necessity, but Moore got to learn behind Whittington, one of the greatest Longhorns ever, and an amazing teacher. Livingstone was a project and needed weight, and is still 2 more catches ahead of Wingo was as a true freshman, and is 10 catches behind Wingo and 250 yards behind, but both have 5 TD's for the season (Wingo had 2 as a true frosh). So Wingo is the only freshman to start and it was out of necessity. Now we have Mosley and Livingstone, but that doesn't mean Lockett can't get reps to go into next season prepared.
  7. I bet you're 100% correct. From the ball coming out slow, Manning's development, and just slow progressing plays that Sark does, yeah, I can see a massive dip. Plus if you can get younger WR's PT, you can end uo with a Dallas Wilson, Carnell Tate, Vernell Brown III, Eugene Wilson, Ryan Williams, Winston Watkins, etc. You don't know what you have in a live scenario until you put them against their peers, and I don't mean practice. This could very well be the case, for sure.
  8. OK, so Worthy didn't have a choice because this was our WR room at the time 2022: - Casey Cain - Taeique Milton (transfer) - Agiye Hall - Troy Omeire - Benen Thompson - Jaden Alexis - Isaiah Neyor - injured - Jordan Whittington 2023: - Jordan Whittington - DeAndre Moore FR- 0 stats - Adonai Mitchell - (tramsfer) - Johntay Cook FR- 8/136/0 for entire year (he caught passes against Baylor and Miss St) Casey Cain Isaiah Neyor - injured or a poor sport Ryan Niblett 0 stats Cook 2024: - Matthew Golden (transfer, unknown how well he would breakout after halfway through the season) played X, Y, and Z receiver and only broke out starting after the ou game when Bond went out, so Wingo had to get reps because we had no one else who could play the position. Johntay Cook - Soph 1/187/1 - Isaiah Bond (transfer) started at 'X' and played 'Z' in different formations - Silas Bolden SR (transfer; return man) different position Johntay Cook - Soph - slot DeAndre Moore Jr - Soph - slot Aaron Butler - FR 0 stats - slot Parker Livingstone - FR 0 stats Wingo - only other 'X' WR So we had only one true X' WR (Wingo) on the team on scholarship, so he had to play since Golden took over for Bond (who was the primary 'x') and Wingo was his backup, so his numbers are inflated. 2025: McCutcheon has 6 catches for 70 yards for the season. He got 1 catch for 2 yards against fOSU. Slot WR No one even suggested playing anyone over someone else other than to say get them snaps. Not start. You don't have to do a 50/50 rotation, I was thinking more like 85/15 or 90/10. Obviously the starters should get the majority of the bulk, but it's not like the frosh WR's need to sit the bench and not see playing time AT ALL. What does tar do for their development for the next year? Continuing the cycle of being new and not having game reps to speed up their development next season. They need it for development, unless they're a project like Butler or Livingstone.
  9. I personally don't understand why Sark doesn't play his FR WRs more. It gets them game reps, and practice is zero sum, so it shows you nothing. There are practice studs, and there are game day studs who aren't great at practice. Rotate Wingo/Livingstone and Lockett, with Wingo obviously getting the bulk, but we should see what Lockett can do, too. Rotate Moore with McCutcheon/Ffrench for same reasons stared above Use Swiss army knife Michael Terry III as a WR/H back, RB, wherever he's needed and can help. He's built like DK Metcalf, so I don't think a single tackle is taking him down. TE rotate Washington/Endries with Townsend. He's a force of nature. Obviously he's not going to get the bulk, but give him something. Other programs have no issues playing freshmen Ohio State Bama Auburn USC Georgia Aggy Michigan Penn State Clemson Oregon And so on.... They don't seem to have an issue playing young frosh and them succeeding. I like Moseley, Moore, and Wingo, but younger guys should be getting reps to add an extra layer to the playbook, and Sark has shown he can dumb it down, which he should since this isn't the NFL, this is college. Get your talent out there.
  10. I'm with you (I do want to keep our freshman WR's, but with the way Sark has recruited the portal for WR outside of his first season, he's hit on all of them, including Bond when he was healthy). Portal > Lott (no offense to Lott, but he wouldn't see the field for us for at least a year, and that's only if he can he beat (name other WR's who play same position).
  11. If we go by Sark's trust tree - - a ride with Ted Bundy is here . . . . . . . . . . - a freshman WR, regardless of ranking playing in their first year is here
  12. Of course. Right as you stumble out to commit, er I mean confess your sins.
  13. Or even at a children's parade handing out balloons.
  14. Just...fuck Georgia. That's my energy expenditure for the day.
  15. Man, I miss my early 20s and not being able to play high level CFB.
  16. Total wuss. Connor Stroh benches 170 lbs. I honestly expected this to happen when someone reminded me months ago. I said he'll probably look around and we aren't even close to entering our final form for 2027. I would bet we aren't out of it for Epps. We'll be good. We can haz whatever 2027 QB you want? I hope we can pry away Elijah Haven from Bama (unlikely), Gunner Rivers, Cotton Nussmeier, Jayce Johnson (aggy commit out of GA), etc. Sark is a demon witch when he eyes a QB he really, really wants. Always a five-star. What we really need, and I'm serious because I'm sick of teams like LSU, Auburn, Aggy, Bama, get five-star WRs year after year. We need to up our WR game rather than betting on the Kohen Brown's, Chris Stewart's, Jaggerson's (outlier), Freddie Dubose's (no clue why we even signed him knowing he would never be the same) of the world. We're right in a state near Mississippi, Louisiana, we recruit FL, AL, and GA, so we have to land both five-star WRs and RB's for this offense. Better talent will equal better RZ scores. Five-stars like Wingo have finally shown something, but he's our only five-star that has seen the field consistently Kaliq Lockett should turn out to be a good one Isaiah Bond - was a former five-star who was good until his injury and Golden took over. Great transfer, imo. Speed kills. Jaime Ffrench top-50 We shall see Michael Terry III - if used right he can be a freak athlete and a big WR like DK Metcalf, Corey Davis, Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Jeremiah Smith, Rueben Randle, Dwayne Jarrett, Dwayne Bowe, Bryant Wesco, Jr, Patrick Turner, JaMarr Chase, etc (these are just big WR's in the same mold, not comparing skill-set). Basically, LSU has made a living off of these types What we have done well is get the most out of a couple four-star guys like Moore Jr, McCutcheon (shows promise), Golden, Whiffed on for various reasons that aren't on the staff: Johntay Cook - bust Aaron Butler - TBD (possible transfer) Brennan Thompson - has shown out at MSU, but failed at both UT and ou Same can be said for five-star RB's as of late- Only one Baxter - unfortunate injury, but plus pass blocker and pass catcher Derek Cooper - depending on service and we'll see if he sticks (he seems solid) But other than that we're living on a four-star in Simon, Gibson (already transferred), and three-star guys like Wisner (dawg. Outlier), Clark (who knows, he's a frosh), Stewart Jr (who knows, he may transfer). in order to maximize our team, we have to land the five-star WRs and RB's even if just to ouy-talent other teams with similar talent. Imagine Bijan on this team. He would help a lot with blocking, pass catching, his smooth cutting ability, but he's not. Not even worried about defense in the least. We're good there.
  17. Totally forgot he existed
  18. So should Darwinism and evolution, yet here we are.
  19. Yes, but have you heard about all of the good fried chicken in this horrid, deplorable of society's sediment?
  20. True. But the blowout was to a legit team in the top 10 with them, so if they drop like a turd in a trucker stop bathroom it will be shameful. Getting blownout at that cursed field is nothing new. That place is buried in monkey paws, and everyone knows this. On a neutral site, I can see this game being much closer. Imo.
  21. Brave of you to go out on a limb like that.
  22. I never would have suspected you to be a B-52's fan.
  23. How can BYU fall so after losing to tech? That's almost on par with our drop in rankings to Florida. So either tech is a bad loss, or something is up. No fucking way do they go from #7/#8 to #17. That's absurd. Yes, I see the #12 AP next to it, but good lord that's just incredibly dumb. It can't be both ways. Either the loss to tech was a loss to a good team and they shouldn't plunge, or the loss to tech is horribad, hence why they dropped like a turd after Christmas dinner. Someone explain this to me. Exactly. It makes no sense. ND shoukd not be ranked 1. Higher than us, and 2. Higher than a team that beat them. Wtf?
  24. Wait- Iceman is Slorch?
