  1. Yeah, spun the stats to put Angel first and then put the article behind a paywall. 101 on how to make money on the interwebs in 2024. Let's all take a moment of silence for the death of journalistic integrity. They've got Rickea 6th..... no.
  2. The correct answer is always go for the one with the biggest tits. Carter's stats are misleading because she played and improved a year in Turkey. Hamby should be most improved, but she's suing her employer, so do they really want to reward her with that? I'm going for Carrington even though she didn't improve as much, because she's fun to watch, on a great team and is beautiful. Betting Hamby gets the award though.
  3. No, we are not. Clark's turnovers are an issue but she contributes massively to the success of her team. More points, assists, and shoots better than Angel. Steals and blocks about even. Clark just tied the # 3 point shots in a year for a rookie with 10 games left (85). Angel's claim to fame are her rebounds/double doubles. The criticism of her shooting so poorly and getting her own boards is legit. She's a good player and will be a league star for a long time, but she's not rookie of the year. You would much rather have CC on your team to win games than Angel. If you consider who contributes more the the success of the WNBA as a whole, the difference is laughable.
  4. Yes, just trying to block her shot. Absolutely did hit her in the head, but zero malicious intent. As opposed to Chennedy Carter, who sees each foul as an opportunity to work out some childhood trauma.
  5. Problem is that's a pattern for Chennedy, girl has got some serious anger issues and has been given a number of chances. Looking for a F2 upgrade on this one. Hell of a talent, but also hell of a problem.
  6. Ordered: Tuesday, August 13, 2024 7:51 PM Don't know why we got ours quicker.....
  7. Said September 5th release date, got it Wednesday. https://store.kamalaharris.com/harris-walz-yard-sign/
  8. Rebounds U.S. 48, France 39. U.S. 16 Offensive boards, France 16 Offensive boards. We shot the ball very poorly from 3 - 2 for 12 for 16% We just are in no way used to games being played this physical. If this was a WNBA game half the France team would have fouled out. US 16 fouls, France 25 - In international play we need to go ahead and bang the shit out of people, cause it's not getting called. Big-time home game for France, the girls did great. Need to do a better job of selecting the players, Taurasi never saw the floor this game. Copper was huge in the fourth, France couldn't keep up with her speed. Would have like to see Chennedy and Arike on this team.
  9. The Olympics where you absolutely love guys you usually hate. Steph fucking Curry.
  10. Fucking turnovers
  11. I think that's true, but additionally the Belgium game was said to be 6 miles from the Belgium border and was packed with Belgium fans. Very hostile crowd which was fun. I think the US team is shocked at how physical they let them play. Yesterday was a basketbrawl game. You can see how the rules here have been adjusted to favor the offensive player.
  12. This. They are playing now on the USA network, we'll see what the number are for the Belgium game.
  13. The game goes really fast. They use the ladies size ball but heavier, what's that about.... The US team with almost zero time together, which seems really important with no in-game coaching and the constant play. Won gold in Tokyo, but not the favorite this year. Weird to be rooting for Van Lith...
  14. Japan was fun, small, fast, constant energy, and great from 3. They all looked happy to be there. You can see the US team starting to coalesce. A team constructed of great players that will be a monster when they all get on the same page. Stewie is this team's rock.
  15. An all star game that was actually entertaining. The NBA all star game isn’t worth watching. Glad we had the hungry all stars vs the USA team, I wonder how the USA team will react. Arika balling out, message sent.
  16. They had a video of her and Angel practicing together.
  17. You rarely see Caitlin open at all, the defense is draped all over her from the jump. I would have liked to see her in the contest, see what she could do with open looks from a normal three point distance. + She brings a ton of excitement to any event.
  18. Two centers and 3 guards. Steph Dolson 48.5% - Center Kayla McBride 42.7% Jonquel Jones 39.6% - Center Alisha Gray 36% Marina Mabrey 34.8% Sabrina 35.6% Caitlyn 32.7%
  19. Thanks @d2o A little communication goes a long way to keep the questions down.
  20. Ionescu is the defending champ right? Perhaps they both turned it down? If so, the W should say so to avoid the backlash. I don't get some of the league's decisions.
  21. Enjoying the game but Monica McNutt is an acquired taste which I have not acquired.
  22. They failed to mention the massive personal contribution by a man known only as "derka". I hope this means an expanded season and perhaps a 16 team field, although the NBA seems like overkill with 30 teams and 82 games. Really great news for the WNBA, I wonder how much could be contributed to the Clark effect?
  23. NEW YORK, July 15 (Reuters) - Wall Street closed higher on Monday, building on Friday's rally as increasing expectations of a second Donald Trump presidency in the wake of a failed assassination attempt raised hopes of a looser regulatory environment.
  24. Wonder how that is going to sit with the rest of the league, with them choosing a presently injured white rookie. At least New Balance also works with Coco Gauff.
