  2. There was a WBB podcast recently where the host was talking about Paige Bueckers and accidentally inverted the first letters of her name and called her Beige Peckers. Now I laugh every time I see her. 😄

  4. Holle averaged 6.6 points over the last 3 years and Phelia averaged 16.7 her last 2 at Michigan. Phelia also watched Carlton sitting all year and watched Jordan Lee busting ass so she knows what's up with Vic on D. Get a serviceable replacement for Jones as stated and this is going to be fun.
  5. First Chavez to an in-conference rival and now this. FML
  6. It don't make a shit. We gots Oldacare.
  7. Seems to be, at least they aren't in conference. The way to compete is to outspend. Hopefully the FF run now will generate some BMD enthusiasm for our WBB program.
  8. Someone needs to do a wellness check on Sedona's girlfriend.
  9. That seems to be the story here.
  10. Well, Vic can work the portal this week, he has already scouted our next opponent pretty thoroughly. Final Four - great recruiting tool.
  11. And how in the fucking hell do we have to play probably the best WBB team in the last 8 years, 4 times in one season? Really?
  12. I absolutely love the week after you make it into the final four. All the attention and interviews. One of my favorite weeks in sports. It's been a while....
  13. They fucking did it! They fucking did it! Vic kept knocking on the door and finally busted through. Just wanted this team to get to the final four, anything after this is gravy. They fucking did it!

  16. Shame, I would love to have her here. Audi not only seemed like a 5 star player, but a 5 star human being as well. Great young lady.
  17. With the way Prince tried to fuck our program, this next game is personal. Need Kyla to bust a bitch up.

  19. I desperately wanted Chavez to come here, but thought that the chances of her portalling out here were greater than say at OU. She wanted a place to “play her game” and showcase her considerable offensive skills. Her game is being "the show", and there’s nothing wrong with that. She is amazing. Madi came here to grow her game and learn and she is getting better each game. She talks about wanting to play D as hard as Harmon. With Vic, first you show you are willing to hustle and play D (cough..Justice…cough) as well as play team ball. Your offense needs to fit into the system. I could see Aaliyah and Vic butting heads easily, but he was obviously willing to try and make it work. Add a few key pieces and this "team" will best "the show".
  20. I was just running through my head all the people I knew who died from substance abuse and all those whose lives it destroyed. Sadly, not a short list. Usually, you have to bottom out hard to get the resolve, but if/when it’s time find a sponsor to walk beside you. Really hard to do it alone. No judgement, nothing but love. You will never be as horrible as I have been. Freetejas
  21. Much rather Tech than OU. Top priority is replacing Jones at this point. Sounds like there are some good candidates out there, free the love.
  22. 3 clutch free throws. Wow
  23. Shite. Massive coitus interruptus to start an important day for us. I would love to have AC, but you pretty much are creating the team around her talents. I’ve wondered how other players would react to not having as big a role due to the team focus being on her. Still very disappointed if true.
