  1. If Crump is playing that won't be near as effective.
  2. To quick a turnaround to have Preston and Crump back I suppose. Damn, we won without those two. Vic with the feels.

  10. From the AAS: For Texas, this trip to Las Vegas isn’t just about testing itself against two fellow Final Four qualifiers from last season and a Duke team that was an Elite Eight squad. Each of the programs participating in the 2025 Players Era event — four women’s teams and 18 men’s teams — will earn $1 million dollars in NIL funds for fulfilling their event obligations, including two games. “I never thought it would be like this,” Texas point guard Rori Harmon said. “Us players are super grateful. Honestly, we want to play hard to win, obviously, but you throw a little bit of money in there, that’s fun too.” According to a report by CBS Sports, event organizers will pay teams through either a school’s collective, NIL deals with athletes or direct payments to schools that want to distribute that cash through revenue sharing. Schaefer has shared that his players will get all of the money and that the Longhorns do have off-court event obligations while in Las Vegas. Texas also has committed to participating in the 2026 and 2027 Players Era showcases. “(It) still is uncomfortable coming out of my mouth talking to recruits, talking to our players about money,” said the 64-year-old Schaefer, who’s in his sixth season at Texas and his 21st as a college head coach. “Five years and before, that was just so illegal and we would never approach that. At some point in the process, it becomes part of the process.”

She is complemented by her younger sister, freshman forward Sienna Betts, the No. 2 national recruit, who adds toughness and depth once healthy. Experienced Backcourt: The guard rotation is led by senior Kiki Rice, a consistent starter and All-Big Ten honoree who provides leadership and playmaking (12.8 PPG, 5.0 APG). The healthy return of graduate transfer Charlisse Leger-Walker, an all-conference player who missed the last season due to injury, provides another dynamic and experienced ball-handler. Perimeter Shooting: A key offseason addition, graduate transfer Gianna Kneepkens from Utah, significantly boosts the Bruins' outside shooting, having shot 44.8% from three-point range last season. Coaching Excellence: Head coach Cori Close was named the 2025 AP and WBCA Coach of the Year after leading the team to a program-record 34 wins and their first Final Four. Her experienced staff and ability to integrate talent are major assets.
  12. 1:00 PM Central I believe.
  13. At minimum, Sark needs to fundamentally change his approach to the job. To date however, he's only shown arrogance and a reluctance to accept accountability for the program's shortcomings. When you combine this with the distractions of an attention seeking wild card wife, and the inherent instability that comes from continuing to drink, you have a volatile situation that's hard to reconcile with an organization that prides itself on being a stable flagship for the state. This situation seems unsustainable in the long term. Eventually, shit gonna to blow.
  14. Great news on Bjorn. Maybe Kyla's injury not as bad as I feared.
  15. Yeah. May have won the battle, but lost the war on this one.
  16. Rori in 4 games at only 22 minutes per game. Shooting .619 13-21 20 Assists 3 T/O 10 steals 7 points per game Her defense yesterday was impressive - including forcing a 10 second call and three steals. You could tell the Texas Southern point guard was frustrated, she earned a foul for pushing Harmon and then fouled out on a technical arguing the call.
  17. Justin Mason analyst for this game
