  3. The contrast between the men's and women's programs is shocking and telling. And hopefully a motivational wake-up call for the administration. Vic is the man and Madi is the truth.
  4. Tech hasn't been to the tournament since 2013. Might be a factor in the decision making process.....
  5. Chavez isn’t going to Tech given the trajectory of that program. She has South Carolina, OhioState, Texas, USC, UCLA and LSU on her list. She only listed Tech to keep from being run out of town.
  6. Bilas: "Texas hasn't been able to run any kind of coherent offense." Do we have one of those?
  7. Shame KM and Baylor couldn’t work it out, they were made for each other.

  10. Alpha Dog Madi indeed. Madison and Jones played 25 and 24 minutes due to foul trouble. Madi made 10 for 10 on FTs and Jones scored 19 points in 24 minutes. Moore was injured and played 2 minutes and Hadi has scompered. Amina was making me insane last night. She got absolutely smoked on D a number of times, shot 4 for 9 on free throws, and got in her 1 traveling call per game. But, she kept us in the game shooting 6 for 8 from the field, scoring 15 points and pulling down 15 boards - 10 offensive. Her rebounding kept us in the game.
  11. The administration already said they wouldn't go back to Lubbock due to past serious safety concerns. If we need to beef up our noncon schedule in the future we might play a B12 team, but it won't be Tech. Tech can wither and die, no one would notice.
  12. McCasland's long-term career record justified his move to a better position. RT's long-term career record justified him being a fine assistant somewhere. Empirical evidence might be able to guide you to potential outcomes....
  13. That was horseshit. Jones got fouled, the smaller girl got her face in the way and they got 4 points out of it.
  14. Our offense is so slow and measured it's painful. Wide open threes all day but we don't take them so they pack the paint. Back to the Shays with 5 points, Gaston and Moore with 0 Booker with 4 fouls is a killer
  15. About par at Fresno, only worse coach at UTEP was the interim coach.
  16. FYI In the Statesman today: Ithiel Horton is quietly garnering more playing time Terry continues to tweak his rotation, with reserve guard Ithiel Horton seeing five more minutes than starter Chendall Weaver. Horton, a graduate transfer from Central Florida, has averaged 23 minutes a game over the past three games and has drawn praise from Terry for his rebounding and defensive work. He also made a pair of 3-pointers, the first time he’s sunk more than one from long distance since exploding for 20 points against his former UCF teammates Jan. 17. They said it: “I thought Ithiel came in and played well. He hit those two threes and guarded really hard, and that kind of kept Chendall off the court. I think we can play a lot of different ways; sometimes, you’ve got to mix it up a little bit and go with different guys.” — Texas coach Rodney Terry
