  1. Easy Peasy:

The US Navy secretly designed a super-fast futuristic aircraft resembling a UFO, documents reveal

‘It is possible to reduce the inertial mass and hence the gravitational mass, of a system/object in motion, by an abrupt perturbation of the non-linear background of local spacetime,’ the patent says. The craft described in the patent features a cavity wall filled with gas, which is then made to vibrate using powerful electromagnetic waves. This then creates a vacuum around the craft, allowing it to propel itself at high speeds. The UFO-style ship can be used in water, air or even space. ‘It is possible to envision a hybrid aerospace/undersea craft (HAUC), which due to the physical mechanisms enabled with the inertial mass reduction device, can function as a submersible craft capable of extreme underwater speeds… and enhanced stealth capabilities,’ the patent continues. ‘This hybrid craft would move with great ease through the air/space/water mediums, by being enclosed in a vacuum plasma bubble/sheath.’ Although the US Navy applied for the patent in 2016 and it was granted last year, it doesn’t necessarily mean the craft has been built and tested. However, the technology is further evidence of the military’s interest in developing ‘exotic’ technologies.

  2. Florida State Is Privatizing Its Athletic Department To Shield Itself From Scrutiny

    Quote

Florida State University’s Board of Trustees voted Friday to establish a new organization that’ll run the school’s athletic department: The Florida State University Athletics Association. According to the Orlando Sentinel, FSU boasted that the new organization would “streamline the relationship” between the athletics department and boosters, and if that sounds shady as hell, it’s not even the half of it. The move will privatize FSU’s athletics department—essentially giving it all the benefits of being both a private corporation, including shielding it from public scrutiny—while still operating on behalf of a taxpayer-funded institution. Florida State is expecting the changes to take effect by the fall.

  3. From an Alabama board. No one had any idea. Posted today. Sad.

"It won't be long now". Doc took me off my treatment schedule. Told me to enjoy myself and get my salvation tight. First part is easy. God and I still haggle over the second part. He said I haven't made it easy on him. He's had to set up a field office for my case.

Anyway, I'm good. Thanks for all the laughs over the years. Y'all are some funny ******s. I've met a lot of nice people here. Several have become very dear friends. You know who you are.

I hate to think the last Bama game I saw was the Clemson debacle. Oh well, I got A- Day on DVR.

Anyway, y'all take it easy and hopefully we will see each other on the other side.

    Past tense, hopefully.

I had Stage 4 Multiple Myeloma for about a week until a whole body bone scan and a competent oncologist said otherwise. Pretty shitty week that was.

I remember that. Glad it worked out.

This stuff is now scientifically believed to be the best thing available for arthritis for humans or dogs.

"Dozens of published studies attest to the benefits of avocado/soybean unsaponifiables. A 2009 study of 16 dogs with cruciate ligament rupture showed that treatment with ASUs significantly decreased damage to the cartilage matrix and reduced the loss of subchondral bone volume and calcified cartilage thickness. Other studies in dogs concluded that ASUs produce an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and tissue-building effect on articular chondrocytes, the cells found in healthy cartilage.

Perhaps the most impressive testament to the benefits of avocado/soybean unsaponifiables in people comes from a 2016 study published in the journal Reumatologia. The six-month-long study observed 4,822 patients treated for symptomatic OA of the knee in 99 centers across Poland. The patients were given one 300 mg capsule of ASU per day and no other medication. The 86.8 percent of patients who completed the study showed significant improvement in functional ability and a significant decrease in pain. They were also able to greatly reduce the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)."

Ivory soap is an example of an unsaponifiable

"In my practice as a canine nutritionist, I receive a lot of questions about the best supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis (OA). In the hopes of relieving their dog’s discomfort and restoring mobility, many clients drain their wallets on products that promise miracles but produce little benefit. I tend to be a “less is more” type of person and scale back to the products that are proven safe and effective, like avocado/soybean unsaponifiables.

I did this for my own dog, Chase, and as a German Shepherd Dog mix, he remained mobile long after most dogs of his breed, enjoying more than 17 healthy years. One of the products on Chase’s “mobility list” as he aged was avocado/soybean unsaponifiables. Let’s look at why I recommend avocado/soybean unsaponifiables as part of a joint support regimen.

Yeah, dude needs to edit that down a tad.

I counted at least 3 wrecked vehicles, did all the people get beamed out right before impact? I know the pulverized car had to have had a fatality - but no sign of a body anywhere?

Everyone only pointed to one dude sitting WAY over on other side of median. But they were all pretty non-chalant about wherever the deceased was.

I think she was wedged in the back of the car.

I guess this is technically titled "shit you just don't get" but it also has "over-rated" in the headline.

You may not "get" Prince but he sure as hell isn't over-rated. He was a modern-day Mozart. Brilliant. Writer, musician, and performer.

Weird, yes. But the music that guy bestowed upon us? Priceless.

Take, for instance, Kurt Cobain. He influenced an entire generation. Prince, not so much, so priceless is a word I wouldn't associate with Prince.

But, I never got the Beatles either, so what do I know.

I just found the missing sliced brisket sandwich from Miller's that was missing from my bag yesterday. Apparently, it somehow rolled out of the bag and down between the passenger seat and door, where I found it when I was unloading some groceries.

It still smells fantastic, looks as good as new. Will I die if I eat it?

We were at Apalachicola's St George island years ago. We were there with some friends of my wife. Husband of wife's friend loved smoked herring or something like. He got high and forgot where he put it. He looked for that fish for several days. Completely obsessed. Finally found it in the oven.

yeah, fuck....more and more companies seem to be moving towards the hair follicle testing. I need to find out a way to determine which method the company uses...or just quit smoking.

I’ve done this multiple times and it works without fail. My new issue is potentially having to take a hair follicle test. That shit goes back 3 months. Luckily I’m baldish so me cutting my shit real short isn’t an issue. Only other option is to shave my entire body and say in a scuba diver, what do they know.

Anyone have any experience beating a hair test?

I know everyone here agrees but the horse is out of the barn and it ain't going back in. Just stop the testing, and stop preventing people from getting or keeping jobs/rant

I got the Pixel 3a XL two days ago for $380 after $100 rebate from Verizon. Highly recommend.

I'm seriously considering picking up the 3a. It checks all the boxes for me. Edge to edge screens be damned!

As you likely already know, Android Q will have a system-wide dark mode setting for use. Battery life on 3a should be unreal after updated to Q

Battery life on this 3a XL I have is great. Its been on for 14 hours, basically, just laying here yet still has 96% battery left.
