I take the test a couple times per year for the past decade, and I'm almost always an ENTJ with extreme E, pretty high T & J, and just barely into the N threshold.  The only times I haven't gotten ENTJ was on a different set of questions, and I was a (barely) ESTJ with the same extremes in E, T, J and just a flip from the N to the S.

It's definitely made me more aware of my tendency to force my plans, preferences, and priorities on people and the social fallout than can result.  My old man is also on ENTJ (my whole family did it once) who has never figured that out (or just doesn't care), so I consciously try to stop myself from doing it.

If you use it to understand yourself better, and adjust your actions, then it's worthwhile.  If you're using it to justify your shit habits, fuck you.

Learning about how you behave under stress is even more helpful.

I am almost always ENFJ, with very low E, borderline actually I. Also low F. So sometimes INFJ, ENTJ. Always high NJ.

About 15 years ago I tried to get into pharm sales. Every application from every company had a personality test to fill out.  First couple I did honestly, which should have led to non salesperson type results. I’d immediately get a no thanks email.

So then I tried to tailor my answers to the typical salesperson personality:  outgoing, work the room, like to meet new people, that bullshit. Got the same no thanks emails. Never was able to talk to a live person, even on the phone.

You can't fool the test. If you try, it will return results that indicate you were dishonest with your answers.

They say you can take it like 5 weeks later and get an entirely different "personality".  This is exactly what happens with me.  I can take it 3 times and get radically different results.  To me that test is pure bullshit.  Now it's true, I have multiple personalities and run a sleazy hotel in California with a spooky Victorian house up the hill, but it's still a joke.  As IMHO are 90% of all personality tests.  Might as well put the types on a Twister spinner and go for it.

Mine has remained constant over the last 10 years or so. I know this guy. Try his test. Free, no registration. https://www.careerplanner.com/MB/Free-Personality-Test2.cfm

This is another site that has held the same over time. http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

If borderline you can consider behavior under stress and back into your type.https://www.psychologyjunkie.com/2015/08/02/how-each-mbti-type-reacts-to-stress-and-how-to-help/

This weekend I noticed that I had some pain in my pubic area. I didn’t think much of it and figured it would go away after a night of drinking. Well, I woke up this morning and it was more painful and had begun to swell. I go to my GP who says I have a hernia and recommends I go to a surgeon right away. I go see the surgeon and she says you have a hernia and we have to operate on it tonight. So now I’m checking into the hospital and I’m about to get a CT scan so they can see if any guts have fallen through the hernia so they will know whether or not they have to cut out some of my guts. This sucks.

Best of luck but at least you will get some good pain medications. More is better too btw.

Always look on the best side of life!
