  1. Yeah well we were in the same mode against OU and we still won on Saturday. Besides most of the other teams have the same mentality. And we have two weeks really between the end of the regular season the the Regionals. Unless you are injured or something I am not sure who needs to lay on the couch for that long. How much rest do we need? Is one or two baseball games really that exhausting for baseball players?
  2. Yeah. I like that. Test our depth a bit. I am confident we can win with these guys.
  3. No game this morning? Seems a waste.
  4. He's been good. I think it says something about Wiener that we have had several guys turn out great outings this year who were greeted by this exact same sentiment when they entered the game.
  5. They won't though. Damn they beat a shitty Mississippi State team and suddenly Surly has crowned them champs.
  6. Midnight baseball on a Wednesday night. Bet they have a huge crowd for this one.
  7. Well they're certainly not getting it now.
  8. It is my annual tradition every May. Spring just doesn’t feel complete otherwise.
  9. Yeah? Well I have a feeling they suck.
  10. Guys...nobody is going to get rid of conference tournaments.
  11. I want a 19 inning game where everybody throws at least 80 pitches.
  12. Ok well he has unexpected priorities sometimes in achieving those things.
  13. Hawley is one of those weird Republicans who seem to care about a few things. Like 90% of the time he is an insane right wing nutjob and then 10% of the time he is teaming up with Bernie Sanders to advance some social program.
  14. It is ridiculous to the point of being surreal how everybody who matters seems to be asleep at the wheel with this water business. Clearly this is a ticking time bomb that will be disastrous for the State, yet nobody seems to be taking it seriously. A functioning government would consider this a crisis, or at least a serious situation that needs to be addressed somehow before it becomes a crisis. Certainly any attempt to address this issue should involve letting the politicians know we consider the situation something that needs attention. Kind of weirded out how none of the big stake holders seem to be driving this point home. I guess they just figure they can abandon Texas and go elsewhere when this problem becomes disaster.
  15. And here I was hoping Mississippi State would end A&M's season. Mississippi has failed me and my disappointment is immeasurable. Which I guess gives me a taste of what it must feel like to live in Mississippi.
  16. Yeah I guess I should take comfort this is more ignorance than malice. But then 75% won't understand what is happening if it gets suspended. That's not good.
  17. Only 47% of "Conservatives" and only 44% of Republicans support the fucking right to Habeas Corpus? How can taking the radical position that one of the foundational rights of our legal system that predates the United States by centuries should not be supported be a Conservative position? I don't understand what the term means anymore. Is there anything so radical that it cannot be considered "Conservative"? And I hate this country. How can only 60% of the people support the right to Habeas Corpus. Land of the slaves and home of the sheep. Granted 24% just don't know what it is. That's fair.
  18. So what happened to the Mississippi State vs A&M game? Why did it get moved to tomorrow?
  19. I just want to point out that in 2023 we won the Big 12 and then got shipped out to Miami to be a 2 seed. Yet Florida might host finishing 15-15 in the SEC. It's crazy. But I guess we are in the privileged club now at least.
  20. Ok that's it for Kentucky, presumably. They can join Missouri on vacation. In an hour or so we will see if South Carolina can join them.
  21. If UK loses, their season is over. So I kind of hope UK loses just to eliminate them. But hey if UK wins, fuck OU. That's cool too.
  22. Missouri was eliminated before I remembered the SEC Tournament started today.
  23. And what does this mean for Lebron's legacy?
  24. It's just, like, their opinion, man.
