1. Oh yeah, that too.
Spoiler

When the pres was flipping through his handy WW3 book, I kept waiting for "Wait, before I pick out a bombing package, shouldn't we know who to bomb first? Wouldn't China's be much different than Russia's which would be much different from North Korea's?"

I think that point was covered. It didn’t really matter. What mattered is handicapping those who would take advantage of the opportunity. With a severely wounded US there other can go on the offensive unchecked.

Even if Russia wasn’t the source, the first missile likely isn’t the last. If Chicago/DC/ Philly were nuked, Russia might see that as a chance to go on the offensive before they get blamed for it and get attacked.

Prez needs to provide a response that hinders Russian capability whether they were the source or not. You can take our critical infrastructure (low loss of like, big handicap) or focus on military assets (limit strike capability) or go for biggest loss of life impact (eye for an eye). The US predicts Russia senses weakness and may decide to take a swing. Hit Russia and let everyone else know, now is not the time.

Or same story for whatever superpower you think has the biggest risk benefit balance. It doesn’t have to be the correct target at first, it just needs to be justifiable. If you strike NK and it was Russias fault, you can pass the blame then destroy Russia.

Or pick a package that wounds all the major powers. Hit NK / China / Russia all at one time. Nobody gets an advantage if they are all wounded. Then it is a race to recovery before anyone can invade anyone else.

Just finished "Arcane" based on a recommendation from a friend.  Had low expectations going in and know zero about LoL.

But I was hooked at the end of Episode 3 and it only got better at the end.  Hands down the best thing I've seen in a long time.

Arcane was excellent. Just worked my way through this. The animation was great as was the story.

3. Identify yourselves!

My first plan (meetup with friends 4 miles from campus then uber to the game) fell through. We audibled and found parking near the stadium in hopes of finding a tailgate I could pay to get into (bricked).

Ended up grabbing a prime rib samdwhich and standing around waiting for the team bus to show up.

Kentucky needs to step up their game day options. They need at least one trailer selling drinks. They would have made a killing.

Many regrets not heading to B&B now. Hook ‘em.
4. Arrived Wednesday.
Keeneland Thursday. The weather was perfect.
Gorgeous grounds and a good time. I  stayed for all 9 races and only won one bet.

Louisville Friday.
Louisville slugger factory tour and Peerless tasting.
We stopped by Green River and Bardstown storefronts.

Mussels and Burgers makes an exxxclelent burger.

We were home in time to watch Miami shit the bed….

5. We’ll be staying in Georgetown and driving down to Lexington the day of. I’ll be with a group of 6-8 so I have some cats to herd to determine what game day will look like for us. On Thursday and Friday I anticipate there will be some time spent on Horses and Bourbon.

The details are TBD.

6. TxEx84 I'll be there with an amigo as well. Between you, me and GottaB sounds like we'll have 12 or so folks. So $100ish per person. If you were open to reserving the spot I'd be open to chipping in $200. Maybe make plans for some grub and drinks? I'm driving in and could bring coolers, canopy and a some chairs. PM me if interested.

I’m going with a group of 6 so I’m definitely interested. I can float the idea to my friends to gauge interest.

7. What’s the group consensus on the Bugout?

I have 5. Four full size and a mini. Of the full size I have one with metal scales, one with carbon fiber, one custom and one standard model with grivory(?) scales.

It is like a griptilian but thinner. It is not as comfortable to hold but is very effective as a pocket knife. Short of abusive hard use, it’s a good knife. Even the full size is very tolerable for daily carry. I forget I have it on me until I reach for it.

If you avoid MSRP, they’re worthy.
