Hall and Billingsley might get processed after this game with the way they are playing. They will fit in great here.

Billingsley is 100% getting processed after this year…. Really hope they try to develop Gunner Helm and J’Tavion Sanders.  Sanders is a strong and fast mother fucker with strong hands.  Teach him how to block and run routes.

Avilas has been my replacement, and Habanero was my go to in Austin for reference. Taken a dozen ppl to avilas and all have given a thumbs up.

Eating here right now.  Solid Rec!  Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and this will be my go to Tex-Mex spot in Dallas.

I prob said it on this thread already, but uchi/ba’s happy hour might be the best bang for the buck in the city.

Yup.  I hit up Uchi on the reg.  Happy hour is probably the best money I spend on quality food.  $3 for a sake bottle.  Two of those fuck me up.  Try their foie gras next time.  Absolutely delicious...

That was a really weird read. As you mentioned in the other thread, Monarch isn't on the list (I don't think Meridian was either) and the Lucia blurb mentions Macellio, which closed a long time ago and obviously Lucia is there now. It sounded old, but then a place like Roots was included (Roots is great, btw) so I didn't know what to make of it. The good news is the list is causing us to finally hit Loro, so that's a win.

The Loro in Dallas is Meh.  I got their fried chicken sandwich and it was possibly the worst hot chicken sandwich I've ever eaten.  I liked the Austin location.  Maybe the Dallas one is still working out their cooks and training them but I live 2 blocks from them and I'll probably never eat there again.

I normally will hit up E bar across, which is meh as well.  After eating at enchiladas y mas in Austin a million times, it's hard for me to find a decent Tex-Mex spot in Dallas.

  5. If you guys are into cocktail bars and speakeasy’s, wife and I recently tried Apothecary in lower Greenville.  Fan fucking tastic drinks.  Make a reservation before you go.  Fun date spot, I really enjoyed their espresso martini and they had a pineapple cocktail that was quite good.

We also just tried La Viuda Negra.  It’s a speakeasy right next to El Come Taco (sister restaurant).  You won’t find it on Google.  Looks like a bridal shop from the outside.  Possibly the best fucking drinks I’ve had.  The food from the speakeasy menu was unreal as well.  Ate some bomb ass tinga quesadillas and chicharrones gorditas.  The bartenders at Atwater Alley said La Viuda Negra has the best mixologists and drinks in Dallas so we tried it out and they were not wrong.  Also, some old white dude came in to DJ later in the night and was playing some sick trance beats.  Great date spot for mid 20s to 30s.  Very small spot and menu is in Spanish.  This is going to be my new go to cocktail spot.  The drinks are balanced and effort in presentation are great.

I don’t want to kick the man while he’s down, but Sark not offering Coleman an off the field role or waiting until he could find a soft landing says something. Sark appears to be genuinely  pissed about Coleman’s performance and he canned him.

It's like we all knew he was a terrible coach and recruiter from his first year here yet Sark still kept him.  Same thing happened when Charlie kept Bruce Chambers and we all knew he had checked out years ago.  I find it hard sometimes when the casual fan can pin point problematic areas yet coaches can't see the glaring problems.  He should have never kept him from the previous staff.  He let go some very good coaches in Hutzler, Yurcich, Ash.  The one good hire I guess was keeping Drayton, but half the board would disagree.   Anyways, Sark should be pissed at himself because it's absolutely unacceptable that you cannot recruit more than 1 fucking WR after the season Worthy just had and after having Devonta Smith win the Heisman.

  7. Yeah, I’ve been binging this show.  I grew up watching the early real world seasons back in the 90s.  This reminds me of it and I get to vicariously enjoy the Austin social scene that I miss from college.

Kamari is pulling mad sluts.  I think the Michael guy is hilarious.  Dude has no idea what to do with girls.  I thought it was hilarious when he brought the 51 year old on a date and then brought her to meet the roommate lmao.

    The chicks are boring.

It won’t take Stewart long to hit the portal next year. Once Jimbo starts repping his 3 TE sets for most of camp, he will start packing his shit

Yup, when he realizes he's blocking and get his 2 targets a game, he'll portal out.  Meanwhile, Worthy and Thompson will be running deep catching bombs.  Pretty sure Worthy had more targets just in the Kansas game than Demas did all year.

I hate that shit - necessary and what not - but kid was active on twitter recruiting and seemed to really be invested.

That's part of the game.  It sucks but it is what it is.  It's better the staff tells him now that he won't have much playing time opportunity now so he can find a landing spot versus getting him on campus and not investing time in developing him if they don't think he's good enough to play here.  Shit happens, not sure how his senior tape looked but he may have just sucked it up like the LB from Cali that we processed.

  10. I'm preparing for us to get Saban'd for Campbell.  His uncle saying he's back to the drawing board doesn't exactly look good for us but then again, we've basically led for him the entire cycle.  Seems odd that he would not go through at this point when things have been better than ever as far as our OL and QB situation.

We seem to be looking good for Agbo and looks like we'll take Red.  Hoping we close with Brooks and that seems to be trending our direction.  We're most likely going to take Ryan Watts from the portal if that works out.  I will believe Harris and Perkins when they sign.  The best thing that could have happened was Elko leaving or Perkins would be at aggy.  We really need elite LBs.  It's a huge glaring hole on this roster.  We have a walkon and a converted safety starting.

I have no idea where WR is going.  Stewart has basically stated all cycle he wants to go to a school where he will know his QB situation.  Calzada just transferred and we have no idea how good or bad King and Weigmann will be.  He's wanted to play with Ewers from the start.  He's a complete wild card.  I can see him flipping but I've followed recruiting long enough to know that when the bag is accepted, they normally never flip.  I just don't see how he's going to pass up living in Austin which will only help his social media following, playing in an offense where WRs EAT, and playing with Ewers.  Aggy literally doesn't offer any of those.  He will make more money with NiL at Texas.  Who ever is running his recruitment is going to fuck him royally.  He may be following the Ewers plan of being on campus for 1 semester to take the bag and then portaling out.

Regardless, fucking sign up Mims and get a center from the portal and this roster looks way better for next year.
