We'll be in a very interesting position for 2026 if Arch plays well and leaves after '25. The options would be inexperienced RS-SO Owens, RS-FR Lacey, and a true freshman. Wouldn't surprise me to see us go out and get a 1-year portal rental for that year unless Owens or Lacey are well ahead of schedule. A program like Texas will be expected to reload every year in the NIL/portal era. Sark isn't going to waste a year with an underdeveloped QB throwing to the likes of Ryan Wingo and (fingers crossed) Dakorien Moore.

I don't think Owens will or should worry Lacey. That's about as clear a path as he'll get at any major program.

Show me a Manning who has left college after 1 year of CFB.

I believe your thoughts, to be clear. That’s what makes things interesting between what you’ve been told and what the 247 reporters posted in quotes from Elko after a practice. Someone is bullshitting someone else. I obviously want it to be Elko lying in public.

To be fair, my information may be BS for all I know. I do know that the immediate future includes Conner’s parents sitting in the Cotton suite at Kyle Field with the expectation he is the starting QB continuing to cash in his NIL deal with said company.  @BurntOrange&White go to google, search Cotton and Weigman, return to site and do what you do best.

Tree Fiddy, along with Dennis Taylor, is a friend of the family.  Or so I've been led to believe.

I am happy to tell you what I know and why…so you can be happy to believe whatever you would like. I did my undergrad at SHSU (MBA @ UT) and am a fraternity brother of Conner’s dad. I could call him and he would answer, but I am not at that point in my life where I need  this drama. What I CAN tell you is that his dad is a solid dude and would never make excuses for injury, or allow his son to do so.  Believe what you want but be careful with your passive aggressive bullshit post.

I maintain that I will be surprised if Weigman plays another down of Aggie Football

Word is that rehab went well and he is a full participant for practice well ahead of the other QB's for the starting position.  The question is not whether or not he will play another down (he will), but rather how long he will survive behind that O line.

I see this has surprisingly devolved into the worst active thread on the board right now. Unsurprisingly, BO&W and SydneyCarton are squarely in the middle of it.

Happy to report that I instigated it.  This BO&W character is a one-of-a-kind for sure.

Thanks for confirming you're the type to pay for OnlyFans.

You sound mad.   Sorry for pointing out the fact that you are at a point in life where you actively spend time to save $12/month.  Point on the bear where life touched you.

Well, I wouldn't worry about the numbers. Maybe saying "courteously holding off" instead of "waiting to see how things shake out in the spring game" wasn't the best way to put it. Also, there will be exits after the spring game because Sarkisian sat down with players and gave them an assessment of future role and playing time and they realized they might need to leave. Attrition now isn't an indicator one way or the other of who pushed it. Attrition next week will mostly be about guys they're okay seeing walk.

As to Auburn, he has an NIL deal with a roofing company and some other corporate deals because of his look and personality. He also gets taken care of well through TOF. He's almost certainly making more than BO&W right now, as well as any other posters here living in their mother's basement.

    Ok, that was hilarious.

Why did no one batsignal me that there was Devin Sanchez talk going on here.

North Shore has been disappointing? Are they supposed to do better than making the state title game 5 out of the past 6 years?

Ignore one of the most successful programs in the state lately because… some players didn’t pan out in college? What about the ones that did? I can name 3 of their guys on current NFL rosters off the top of my head.

And major lulz at Sanchez being anything close to overrated. Yeah 6’2 corners that run 10.8 100s and shutdown the #1 receiver in the country in back to back title games just totally grow on trees.

Sanchez and many of their other stars didn’t grow up around there or in that school system. His older brother played at a Fort Bend school, and Sanchez transferred in to NS for high school. For the superior academic environment.

It’s been beaten to death already so I’ll leave it alone I guess. This board has already made up their minds that he’s a bust and will be terrible. We’ll see who’s right on draft day 2027.

Moved to North Shore for academics?   I hope this was sarcasm.  If not, well never mind.

Can confirm. The "city" itself is basically a restaurant city with a defunct mall and 2 theaters.  Went to school there and played soccer. At least it got me a scholarship to a good P4 school before I said fuck it, I'm headed to UT. Rider, my alma mater had great academics. The other 2 (WFHS or 'Old High' and Hirschi) were in a sad state. Now they've built two new mega schools called Memorial and Legacy, and will shut down those 3 schools for the 2 new mega schools at the end if this school year, I'm excited to see where this talent will be headed. Rider always had the better football program and has sent a ton of kids to P4 schools, I imagine Legacy will be the better of the 2 for all sports since Rider dominated in soccer (we have 3 state championships since 2000, and too many 2nd place finishes), Football was always good and made it to the semi finals on several occasions. Tennis, Swimming, Golf (both Rider and Old High were good), and Rider baseball was good. Hirschi had a good football program who just sent a RB named A'Marion Peterson to USC. Legaxy will have 2k+ students and Memorial 1700-1800

I'm interested to see how well both turn out and how many kids get more interest from UT, USC, Bama, etc, we have the talent and now we have 2 schools to utilize it, so we shall see.

.but yeah....the city sucks ass. Im so glad my wife decided we needed to GTFO out of that place, it is embarrassing. Sorry for the rant

You seriously took the time to type every bit of this out as if anyone gives a fuck.  Great, now some asshat will do Tyler next, followed by Lufkin.
