Saw them all opening weekend at the Texas Theater in Jasper. I was in junior high and my father would take me to supper Friday nights and then drop me off at the movies. Hippies and black people sat up in the balcony. Lots of interesting smoky odors came from there. Always wanted to sit up there but I hadn't embraced my inner pimp yet

Michael shooting Solotzo and McCluskey in their heads is the greatest moment in cinematic history. I'll suffer your slings and arrows and stand behind that statement

Robert Towne, who is still with us at age 89, was the "script doctor." Didn't even know what that was until Robert Towne became one

I always used to dig all the Lincoln & Kennedy similarities. I think they were on a card you could buy at Stuckey's to go with that pecan log...
Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy and Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln.
Boothe shot Lincoln in a theatre and hid in a warehouse. Oswald shot Kennedy from a warehouse and hid in a theatre, etc.

Sugar. I like the Colin Farrell that embraces his handsomeness and slays some poon. The one that has friends that cut off their own fingers not so much

Also Sugar. Colin Farrell being his inner pimp like he should have all along

only good thing to come out of Waco?
Also Highway 7 which is not so coincidentally the only good thing to come out of College Station

Saw it yesterday and loved it. Beautifully shot.
Agreed. Second is the Alamo Drafthouse employee describing it's allsomeness as compared to Dune I which was also allsome just not as allsome.
This rated third behind a couple of guys reenacting John Wick 2 years ago when my son and I were eating breakfast. I think they were construction workers staying in a nearby motel so not nearly as violent but best floor show I've ever witnessed

Enough "Shut the front door!!!" already. They really should STFU

Almost 14 minutes long. This was definitely a "I gotta go to the crapper" song for metal radio station DJs back in the day

How is this? Wife and I watched the premiere the other night. It was interesting but we’ve got so much to watch. Stick with it?Good to great acting including Ricky Martin. Speaking of much like teh gays I like all the colors and chick fashions. Good writing and some funny, funny dialogue at times. Give it a couple of more episodes and it will get interdasting and shit will get real

Saw this with the wife and kids at Mueller Alamo last night. Phenomenal movie, drills the 70s vibe to a T, and a nice solid build while keeping great pacing. Really good performances, particularly the lead and the young lady who plays Lilly. I know there's some hubbub about 3 seconds worth of AI-created title cards that the people who worked on the film then edited, but don't let that stop you from supporting independent filmmakers who made an excellent picture. Streams on Shudder starting April 19 if you miss it in theaters.
Had to google it and read Wikipedia. Trippy man

Are bank robbers who are fans of other teams (and you know there are a shitload of them) markedly different according to your research?
Admittedly unscientific but I can't recall a famous superfan face painter committing armed robbery. Unless Puddy on Seinfeld went bad

Spaceman with Adam Sandler and Cary Mulligan. Boring AF
But you almost cried when the big space spider died right?

I'm digging The Wonderful Anthology of Roald Dahl by Wes Anderson. Four episodes starring Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dev Patel (who I thought was the guy who denied the Horns a hot breakfast in College Station in '99) and your other Anderson regulars

Dug it. Love movies where they just ratchet the tension up for a couple of hours

Swear to God if I ever heard someone say potahto or tomahto in person I'll slap the taste out of their mouth. Unless it's a hot British chick. She gets a pass

also always enjoyed on Seinfeld when Puddy wore the fur coat and Elaine referred to him as Dr. Zaius
