Also Adams was creepy as shit. Perhaps only second to John Wayne Gacy. I think a warrant ought to be sweared out to excavate under his old house in Lubbock just for good measure

I am wrong for saying Texas had a better roster? even following the implosion of the Tech program and Mark Adams' departure?
Gotdam, it's one thing to be a homer, and I am, but it seems impossible for some of you tok recognize fucking facts.
and fuck the "this is a Texas site" bullshit. I didn't drop McCasland's name in the thread, so fuck off with that shit.
I'm no Ms. Manners but surly even she would give you a demerit for your bitchassedness

The comparison was started by someone else. The preseason predictions and the results of the 2023-24 campaigns support my position. IDGA rat's ass if you endorse it or not. You like denial.
slorch I'm not the biggest Tech fan in the world but usually dig your posts. Please see the name of this website. It's right at the top. Sometimes t's like you come into our living rooms and put your naked stank feet on the coffee table

I was a Marvel fanboy growing up. Got a king sized issue of X Men when they decided to kill them all off an replace them with new mutants. It's dog eared and has my name stamped in it so my comic book trading friends wouldn't rip me off. According to the interwebs if I wasn't 6 years old at the time but instead being in my 30s and living in my grandma's basement and shrink wrapping shit it would be worth $2,000 which I could definitely use but naw.
That being said Marvel movies these days are teh suck. The Flash was good even though it starred a cult leader/child molester. Watching the new Aquaman movie and it isn't too terrible either

It's years old but endlessly rewatchable. Not good. Great. Aronofsky, O'Rourke and Tomei doing work. Like every male heterosexual and every gay woman ever born I love me some nekkid Tomei. IIRC this came out right before another Aronofsky movie, The Black Swan. Best one two punch since Coppola? I will never ever complain about Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis getting down but IMHO this one is a tad superior

Uhm what?
Reference to an X Files episode featuring the Peacock family. Fairly disturbing

Yes, it’s a fairytale version but I like it. Soundtrack is good too.
Second only to Ohio State as far as shitty fans go IMHO

Rudy's fine. Like all sports biopics, it's full of shit.
Normally dig your posts but this one is offsides. Attended the '96 game due largely to our District Judge. When they edged us out he jumped up and hollered "Fucking Catholics!!!" which drew a shit ton of support in our section. If we ever play those assholes again it should become a cheer

I always want to compare Hoosiers to Rudy for some reason, and Hoosiers wins out by a lot.
I tend to not like Yankees too much. Partially due to the War of Northern Aggression but mostly due to the fact that everyone of them I've ever met is a complete prick I'm sort of prick myself so I ought to know

Sienna Miller is 42.
She was 22 in Layer Cake.
She could be 72 and she’d be too hot for Larry.
My response to Mrs./Ms. Miller is gotdamn

On a retiree's budget so Sling, Hulu and Max pretty much do it for me

I'm watching this on MGM+ because a better movie is about to come on and that's practically every movie. Don't understand the love this one gets probably because fuck Notre Dame

Realizing I've beaten the dead horse too much but not cut it open and slept inside it during a blizzard, Birdman won the 2015 Oscar for best picture. Solid movie and a dig Michael Keaton but that's bullshit right up there with The Verdict not winning best picture

My only complaint is why eat raw fish or buffalo when there's a fire right fucking within 10 feet of you

I think Wilson outshines RGIII in the "cornball brother" category but I'm too caucasian to be an expert in that area

Also after the umpteenth viewing I noticed there's a swirl mark on someone's canteen in The Revenant like the one in True Detective. Weird

I think it's great, a record is a record. All sports have a discussion about how the game has changed, more games played, and basketball in particular is skewed by the introduction of the three point line. She has done it in four years so there's no covid extension to pump the numbers.
Agreed. This whole her v Maravich, women v men thang is overplayed. My only beef in that area is I'm old enough to remember the Battle of the Sexes at the Astrodome and it seems like the facts that Bobbie Riggs was old enough to be Billie Jean King's father, was a hustler and not a professional tennis player and King got to use the doubles court while the old man was stuck with the singles lines gets swept under the rug too often when we celebrate Billie Jean's special accomplishment. Yay equality

I watched the Banshee pilot last night and enjoyed it. Of course, now come to find out that Apple TV, where I watched it, charges for any episode after the pilot. The only place I can find it free is on Cinemax, and fuck if I'm subscribing to another service.
It's on Hulu for cheap

Search function pulled up this thread which apparently has nothing at all to do with The Revenant. Initially not the biggest DiCaprio fan but I'll be damned if that youngster can't act. No doubt those Scorsese and Tarantino movies helped but this one delivers too. Watching it again on Max

"A Big 12 spokesperson did not respond to multiple requests from the American-Statesman for either a comment on the traveling call or a clarification from the officials on why a whistle was blown."
Can't get out of this chickenshit conference fast enough

I saw Barbie, Oppenheimer, Napoleon and Poor Things. I liked Napoleon the most. Poor Things just creeped me the fuck out so I couldn't finish it
