Planning to attend the UT game in Dayton on Wednesday night. Midweek / short notice means it will be a solo trip. Would be driving in Wednesday evening and staying overnight. Lunch Thursday in Dayton. Haven't decided if I will stay an extra night or not (leaning no, but can be persuaded). What do I need to know?
Coincidentally, Indiana and UNC both opened in 2021 when Shaka left and Beard came to Texas. Of course, I would expect UNC to conduct a national search this time around instead of promoting internally.
So... what's going here? Women's track is currently unranked?

Will Harris sounds promising
Most of Sark's hires after the initial cast of characters (Flood, Banks, Milwee, Gideon) have been coaches relatively few people have named.
I remember the Shaka era when there seemed like half a dozen instances where his teams reached a point of no return only to do something positive enough to keep things going. This feels like one of those moments.
If they win in Oxford, though...
CDC hasn't missed yet when he has hired externally. Will be interesting when the time comes; pulling a men's basketball coach isn't the same as hiring a women's golf coach.
That's just game-threading. A midseason coaching change to an interim coach (different circumstances) is part of why we're in this situation in the first place
