What has happened to bond? Why can other teams throw deep balls but we can’t get the ball to him minus overthrown deep posts? We have to be using him better
He’s hurt

Yeah, considering they ran him out of town, I don’t think there is any love lost

Other side of it is if Texas can finally play a complete game, it’s on like donkey Kong.
Other teams should be worried that we haven’t yet played our best game of football

You disagree that you want your players to believe they’re the best going into each game?
Whatever you say, bud.
I think it’s clear that I disagree that I want my players disrespecting the other team in the press a day before the game. It’s not just self confidence or locker room hype. Maybe, just maybe, it’s stupid to be a 2 td underdog and insult the best defense in the country. Surely they’d rather be taken lightly or overlooked. But maybe you’re right. Let’s ask the #1 defense to put their pride into every tackle.

I mean this is what you want if you’re ASU. Can’t blame those guys one bit for that.
I really disagree. Why give the #1 defense in the country extra juice? Yes of course our guys will want to win anyway, but “no one can stop me” is dumb. Under promise and over deliver. His players are chirping like they’re Muhammed Ali and yet they haven’t earned shit

Is it just me or where a lot of those Clemson drag plays across the middle of the field borderline, offensive pass interference,?
Their first TD was blatant Offensive PI as it looked like our DB got completely wiped out

2024 SEC Championship vs Georgia L, 2023 CFP vs Washington L, 2023 Big 12 Championship vs OU W, 2018 Big 12 Championship vs OU L, 2009 National Championship vs Bama L, 2009 Big 12 Championship vs Nebraska W
Can do this all day but point is in the past 25 years Texas is 4-6 with a Championship or a chance to keep the national championship season alive. Not sure what has changed. Hell even King of the Hill has an episode showing Texas can't win the big one. The Alamo and Texas Bowl wins are great though! I'm sure many fans remember the likes of DKR and the runs the teams had in 60's and 70's, or the runs of what almost were. Mudstomping is considered only a 17 point win now, but when you've gone through what you have and not seeing a two score win in a big game I understand.
Also, comical to point out a bad ACC conference when 27 of your 33 conference championships came in the SWC where yall were the biggest school in their. Not to mention the 2 in the TIAA?
Always had respect and liked watching Texas but to disrespect Dear Old Clemson doesn't sit right with me. So sit back and watch how history continues to write itself and the jokes about Texas being back never dies.
Hi asshole - how’d your run defense hold up? I hope you never fire Dabo

I'm not a believer in Arizona's State's D at all.
They've only played 2 offenses in the top 30 of OFEI (Kansas and UCF). They gave up 406 yards and 32 points to UCF. They gave up 411 yards and 31 points to Kansas.
ASU's D and special teams are complete ass. That's a dream matchup for our offense.
We’re still built to beat BigXII teams

We may need to change the title of this thread to Elon Musk’s America.
Big strong Trump, and the GOP members of the House, are mere puppets to the world’s richest man. Surely this is what everyone voted for

Luke's torpedoes into the Death Star exhaust port take an unrealistic bend into the opening after being shot perpendicular to the port from quite some distance away. I mean, why not just come straight at it and shoot into the exhaust port from above and avoid the whole "trench run"?
(other than the fact it was cool and was a great video game sequence)
I’m sorry, didn’t you hear how Luke used to bullseye womp rats in his T-16 back home? Also quite the assumption that these made up space ships that can travel through hyperspace have weapons that operate within your understanding of physics.

They know they don't make the biggest bucks, but they are genuinely happy doing what they do.
Don’t worry because we’re intentionally and openly returning to the spoils system as Andrew Jackson intended. Also it turns out Jackson’s presidency is a fantastic analogue for Trump from committing horrific atrocities rounding up minorities, to large scale destabilization of economic policies, and elevating an army of unqualified loyalists to government jobs.
The difference being that a democratic administration actually came in and invested in jobs, expanded manufacturing, cooled inflation and the American people said “fuck that responsible governance garbage- the prior guy only just started to irreparably damage everything. Lets do that but without anyone around to tell him no”

Tell me about Dabo’s recruiting classes, Clemson’s NIL program, and Clemson’s ability to work the transfer portal. Those systemic failures to adjust to modern times will only further cement Clemson as a “once great, but can’t compete” type program like Nebraska. I hope you enjoyed your success this season, hopefully you keep Dabo another 10 years. If your delusional optimism hanging over from a miracle kick win over SMU hasn’t subsided yet, tell me about your stellar run defense that couldn’t slow juggernauts like SCar or Louisville.
Now go get your shinebox

IMO if he can't practice he shouldn't play....can't have a receiver going half ass on routes.
Totally agree. Bond giving up on a tipped ball directly led to a turnover. We shouldn’t risk it- he’s a liability when hurt

With that said, I have this knot in my stomach about this game. Clemson is coming off of an emotional high and no one is picking them to win. Dabo loves to play the underdog card with his team. Where Texas is coming off a gut wrench loss with some glaring issues on offense. This offense is STRUGGLING in the redzone, turning the ball over, and penalties. Clemson is a shell of its former self but they still have dudes. As much as we should win this game on paper by double digits, I could also see a scenario where the offense struggles to put up 20 points, missed FGs, penalties, and stadium that looks like it may not even be full with how ticket prices are looking. Clemson doesn't even have to play a great game, they simply need to hit 1-2 explosive plays, commit to stopping the run, and let this offense shoot itself in the foot with mistakes.
Dude, your worries are just vibes. It’s like all the people picking aggy to beat us- no stats or matchups analysis. Clemson is the best draw we could have asked for in these playoffs

Can’t we just agree that the campaign was really just vibes from the GOP? They don’t even have a party platform and every GOP voter has convinced themselves Trump won’t do all the horrible things he keeps telling us he will do. Even in this thread: “he’s not going to deport everyone…”

I am worried about Clemson using the Georgia QB run gameplan against us because of how we played it and it working.
We contained Arnold and Reece pretty damn good. With two weeks to prepare, I’m not worried

Hey hey hey. So did Leavitt prove he was the best qb in football yet? How many TDs did he throw? He didn’t lose by throwing a game ending turnover did he?
