LoL you fucker. Not sure if "interesting" is the adjective I'd use.

last night I was drunk, and angry. that said, here in the sober light of day I'm still completely tired of seeing Rex everywhere I go, opining on shit that he is completely clueless about as if he were actually an expert, and/or just saying indefensibly stupid/uninformed shit. last night was the first time that I responded to him "with a bazooka" as he put it, but he's been deserving of the bazooka treatment for a hot minute now. here's the last three things I've seen Rex posting about:

1-About 8 posts in a row blaming Ahmaud Arbery for his own murder. Seriously. The literal stupidest shit I've ever seen posted. Didn't respond to him once, because what the fuck is the point of even arguing with that type of idiocy?

2-Emphatically claiming that Wayne Gretzky is nowhere near as clear of a GOAT in his sport as MJ is in his, when in fact the exact opposite is true. He *knows* that he doesn't know a single fucking thing about Wayne Gretzky, but will that stop him from acting like he's a Gretzky biographer? nope. I politely corrected him this time.

3- "Steph Curry is a PG the same way Allen Iverson was a PG." Again, not just factually wrong, but completely fucking stupid. Only someone who has absolutely no clue what he's talking about could even type that out and post it, but again, that has never stopped Rex. It's a completely lazy and uninformed take. Steph Curry, a point guard, isn't a PG in Rex's mind because all Rex knows about him is that he scores a lot. I can't wait for Rex's take on how Lamar Jackson is a QB the same way Ronnie Brown was in Miami since they both are good at running.

I regret nothing and apologize for nothing. Rex sucks dicks for quarters, which is normally fine when he's not frequenting the same threads as I do. This last week+ of having to listen to his uninformed and retarded takes is only making the present even worse than it already is.

And Rex, I'm not being mean as I "disagree with you", you are saying factually incorrect and stupid shit and I am insulting you for it. Big difference.

Steph is a PG like AI was a PG and doesn’t belong in this conversation. Before you think I’m denigrating him I’m not - his career rank when he’s done will probably exceed all the players mentioned with the exception of (maybe) Magic. I think the Top 5 of all time is

    1. Magic

    2. O

    3. Stockton

    4. Zeke

    5. Not sure. I’d probably put Paul here.

I’m a huge Mavs fan and Nash and Kidd has large swaths of their careers where they were ineffective (Nash) or didn’t put up numbers (Kidd). They are both greats, and I like them, but they don’t belong on this list, and at bottom of list in response to OP’s question.

wrong. wrong. AI was a volume scoring guard who happened to play PG; Steph is a PG who happens to be able to fill it up. Terrible analogy, as usual Rex. It's so fucking annoying/pathetic that you *know* that you don't have a goddamn clue what you're talking about, and yet you still choose to stroll up into a million different threads like you're the authority on the subject. just stop posting about sports. you're pathological.

  3. i went back as far as page 24 and didn't see this posted, but even if it has been I think it's worth a repost for anyone like me who may have missed this when it happened. It's Killer Mike (google is your friend if you've never heard of him) giving an impassioned speech to Atlanta. very moving stuff:

I remember asking a White poster on Hornfans if he would ever wish that he could change and let me be White and him Black for a week, and of course his response was "no way."  And pretty much all White people will say that because it's hard yall.  It's difficult. It's frustrating.  It's tiring.

There is no one left on girl’s side who is a legit intimidating bad ass..except Jenny Roids. Kacee may be up there soon. But I can see all the other girls whining in the final.

Still so pissed Tori is gone...and for what?? So Jenna can then get beat by fukin Aneesa. Jeezus.

They need to bring back that past season format with the Loser House or whatever it was, lol. Bring back some worthy people who just had a bad day/luck during elimination.

Kaycee is legit. She's probably not on Jenny's level, but that doesn't mean that she can't beat Jenny in a final. Kaycee legitimately won Big Brother over a guy who I would say played one of the best games of anyone to ever play BB and not win. She laid low, made friends with everyone, and then really stepped up and started winning a whole bunch of competitions when it mattered. to me she's right up there with Jenny when it comes to female favorites.

Josh is on my Mount Rushmore of least favorite people on this shows history. Jesus fucking Christ he is a beating. Every episode.

him winning BB was the crowning achievement for one of, if not the most shitastic casts in Big Brother history. also, saying he "won" BB doesn't even feel right- he was voted as the winner by a panel of morons, he didn't actually go out and earn it with any skill, strategy, or play.

  7. There are people like CT and Kaycee, who are real champions, and who throw themselves in without even knowing what they're up against because they're just g's like that; and then there's everybody else. and it's so funny to watch how time and time again, particularly with with the girls, they all freeze up and want no part of that elimination when everything is still to play for, but then when it's over they go, "damn, i coulda won that, i shoulda thrown myself in!" and what do they invariably do the next time they get that chance...yeah. but like i said, it's funny to watch.

  8. ok i just got to the part where Dee is talking about how she didn't have respect for Kaycee as a competitor, but that she now sees that she should take Kacyee seriously. Dee, you stupid fucking bitch. Shit your mouth. You are weak, and scared, and would be eaten alive in the heyday of the Challenge by the likes of Emily, Laurel, Ev, and even Cara. You aren't any scarier than Camila as a competition, and at least she was a)hot and b)crazy in an entertaining way. I hope that you have to face Jenny in a Hall Brawl and she squashes you like bug. ugh.

you one what else, i don't recall ever hating a female competitor like this, like she's a dude. it's not natural for me to wish violence on a girl, but Dee just brings that side out of me. She is the worst.

  9.

that teardrop fade away is fucking devastating. such a badass signature move.

edit: also note how many and-1's he gets for his teammates. he drops a perfect pass in to a moving target with a defender draped all over him and its a layup +1 all day. such a unique weapon.

  10. I would love to see see this team evolve around him to the point where we got a Nuggets vs Bucks Finals, just to see these two teams that are built around these two freak players who couldn't be different from one another. I would really enjoy watching that.

You'd have to get enough people together willing to face the consequences for this cause. And as of now, this is a lost cause. As one of my friends who served 25yrs for murder, said there is not many out there willing to risk their lives and freedom for this. They will protest and maybe things get out of hand and they get slapped with a piddly charge but in terms of what you are saying, that is on another scale.I mean the average American who has a family and job, they are not going to risk all that for this cause. And I don't blame them. They have their own selves and families to worry about. Even the guys who say fuck the cops and are in a life of crime, are not going to risk it.

Also, the police are so heavily armed and funded, they would wipe out any militia that tires to stand up to them. Even if they somehow got enough together and get by them, the fucking Army would come out and shut all that down. They stand no chance.

there are plenty of entire communities out there with nothing to lose, and a whole lotta anger and guns. can you imagine if the south side of chicago united and turned on the police? if St.Louis wasn't 1,000 different little towns then the Michael Brown incident may have seen more violence after the fact. there are other areas in places like Miami, New Orleans, Memphis, Baltimore, Philly, Cleveland, NJ, etc where it isn't totally unbelievable that something like that could happen under the right (wrong) circumstances.

and on a somewhat similar note, this is how people get radicalized. i'm sure that anyone with a little charisma and motivation could go recruit a bunch of young people with nothing going for them who want to be a part of something bigger than themselves to form some sort of anti-police militia whose endgame is an actual war on the police, similar to what the taliban has already done here. start a movement online, recruit people, mobilize, and then go to war whenever another egregious police-on-civilian killing occurs.

If the powers-that-be continue to let this bullshit be the status quo then something drastic is going to happen one day, and it's going to be an ever darker and more fucked up time in this country than the one we're currently living in. history has shown that it's not a matter of if, but when the people rise up against this type of shit when the system refuses to correct itself.

  12. I am legitimately shocked that a full-scale war on police hasn't broken out somewhere in this country by now. The more this shit keeps happening there is going to be an inevitable breaking point where a community just says "fuck it" and starts targeting their local police. I'm talking targeted killings of cops, molotov cocktails through your living room window at 3am, legit death threats to your wife and kids...an entire local police force scared to come outside because the people have had enough of the police failing to police themselves. and when that does happen, all we'll be able to say is, "welp, that was the most preventable/foreseeable tragedy ever." unfortunately, these types of extreme measures are often required before anyone with the power to make change actually gives a shit.
