  1. As a card carrying SWT/Texas State "T" Association member, I gotta confess that I feel no inner turmoil about this at all. Thrilled with what Coach Kinne, Dave Bailiff and the staff are doing in San Marcos, but we'll be okay - this was very necessary!!!! I try to not ever be too negative about the men in the arena, but Auburn made it difficult last year. Hope he shakes the yips soonest, elsewhere. Eat em' Up, and Hook Em'!
  2. Firstly, I did use the search function to try and figure this shit out on my own. I'm not a great searcher. Problem is, I'm a great reacter. I react to all types of shit, but I'm limited to one reaction a day over here, its seems. Can someone share with me how to farm out some reactions, buy em', or acquire them through some other method that doesn't cause me to compromise my already fucked morals? TIA
  3. Can't be overstated how important a good tight end is for a young QB with a young WR group. There will be high stress moments in close games this year, with yards available in the middle of the field, and this pickup will be invaluable. Good shit, Sark.
  4. Life comes fast 😂 Hoping he unlocks some Aaron Donald type shit to shut me all the way up. Would settle for some Bill Norton though
  5. This is good news, IMO - didn't see any path to the field for this guy. Would've been much more Savea than Lole/Norton.
  6. Played against him my sophomore and junior years. Holy shit. Crazy enough, Rocky Bernard gave us a little more trouble than Casey. I think Vince probably takes this, but Kyler Murray and Russel Shepard were really fun to watch and put some crazy work on film.
  7. I think he stays. There is supposedly a willingness on the UH side to do what's necessary financially, and that should be enough to carry the day. What's nearly as strange as the UH commitment is the fact he's stayed at his high school. Lots of coaches came at them about transferring to programs with more exposure and a higher level of competition. Weird QB recruitment for sure.
  8. Not crazy that his son can play ball, just wild to be talking about a 2029 kid. Time flies. That was cute though.
  9. I've seen Chris Stewart play several times over the past couple years. There hasn't been one game where he wasn't hands down the best player on the field (including Summer Creek). Electric with the ball in his hands on screens and in the return game, and is tough as shit. Whatever the staff decides regarding his brother, I trust it'll be handled professionally as Shadow Creek is beginning to load up on players. There is a 2029 (I know that sounds crazy AND wrong thread) named BJ Lafell who Sark, Schloss, Miller and Floreal will be on tough - and who they'll have a very legitimate shot at landing. Even in this landscape of a more "national" recruiting footprint, Shadow Creek is a school that would be good to maintain a strong relationship with.
  10. If folks are right about Bowman, he would be an extremely timely get. The tight end room is really good and has been. A “generational” tight end that wins repeatedly in the middle of the field would be an amazing gift for any new starting QB in a couple years (Lacey, Bell or otherwise)
  11. For reference, Sherrone Moore played at 6'4 300. I think the kid will be alright from a size perspective.
  12. i carved out some time to rewatch the aggy game minus emotions and whiskey. I knew in real time that it was an ass whooping, I just didn't realize what a well whooped ass they walked out of Kyle with. It takes a special person to get online and search for data points to prove out some type of parity between the programs after getting physically overpowered like that. That's real good bull right there
  13. Jason Washington (who coached safeties here during some of the darker times) is a former teammate and suitemate our Freshman year. We talked recently about some of these Southeastern kids, as he's been in Starkville the last few years and is in Mobile now. Not sure if there's a recency or proximity bias, but he couldn't shut up about Crowell. Swears the kid is Frank Gore and that although he plays at a high level school for Alabama standards, a D1 strength and conditioning program makes him a game changer. I'm sure there's not much merit given to a J. Wash evaluation, but he does know ball. That talk has me hoping we push hard for the kid.
  14. I think CJ Baxter has/had every tool necessary to be great in his kit. I guess the jury is out, but I'm still a believer. Hard to make a determination on the 24' guys. He definitely coached up the guys he inherited, but really hard to judge his three recruiting classes currently with so little work product.
  15. Neal Brown is a solid offensive mind. When he has his druthers, it's lots of targets to motion and an emphasis on getting the ball out quick to fast guys in space. Not sure how it pairs with what I anticipated would be a more "pro-style" approach this year to take advantage of Arch's predilection for the deep ball. Whatever form the offense takes, I'm glad Sark is continuing to bring in guys with real bona fides and coaching agility. Really good hire, IMO
  16. I’ve lurked this board for years. Gleaned copious amounts of recruiting information and witnessed all types of discourse. Was never compelled to take the leap and make an account until now. I just need to know who allowed you to be custodian of your niece and nephew for any period of time, so that I may alert the proper authorities.
