Chicken Sandwich doesn't believe a counterterrorism official. He prefers to take Donald Trump at his word. This is a level of stupidity we haven't seen before.

maybe it was a Saudi CounterTerrorism official. We all trust them now right?

So Trump is mobilizing military assets. Can we send the Aggy Corps instead?

  2. let the dogs drink rain water.

well Surly mafia, guess we know where there is bottled water.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Animal Center, Austin Pets Alive! and the Humane Society of Austin have all asked for help as the city of Austin goes under its first citywide boil water notice.

Austin Pets Alive! says it does not currently have an adequate way of boiling all the water needed to care for animals at the shelter, located at 1156 W. Cesar Chavez St. near downtown Austin.

APA! is asking people to donate bottled water — or water from outside Austin — to the shelter. Donations can be brought to the area outside Building C, its medical clinic.

I boiled the pallet. Do i sling it against the wall to see if it's done ala spaghetti?

no, use it as the heat source so you can fry the water to a boil in the plastic bottles.

Before boiling the water you want to coat the pan with Kramp Easy Lube brand Vegetable shortening

Update:  Rain continues into this weekend but starts to slowly taper off,  the dry period peaking around F1 Sat. concert and race day (Sun.).  Talk about a lucky break!  Qualifying might be wet here/there but the concerts and especially race day will be great.

But then, more rain moving in next week, yep again.  We got a confluence of things to look at next week, beginning early Monday a.m.

    - The low causing ALL of this rain finally kicks NE into the Central Plains.  But it drags a front behind it, which will push through but then stall around us.
    - Possible second Sergio type remnants of tropical storm off Mexico moves/funnels moisture NE into Texas.
    - Gulf moisture surges NW into TX.
    - All of these things converge around us and we could be fooked again.  At this point NWS not calling for tons of rain... but... these patterns are often conducive to very heavy training rain.  Over where?   Not yet sure.  Stay tuned.

Here, I had the boys in the graphics room spin out this highly ornate, detailed map.  Need a superior resolution screen to pick up all of the detail, but I'm confident Surly has spent the adequate funds.

What the hell happened to our pitching? I was so confident coming into this series that it would be our pitching that would give us a chance in every game and they seemed to be throwing grapefruits up there. Such a great season only to go out with barely a whimper.

Agree. It was why I thought the Sox were going to have trouble. If you listen to Fronden MLB bribed them. Since he is not going to renew his MLB pass we won't have his insight next year.

Why are y’all arguing about whether he would have caught it or not? The ball was out of play so it was a home run. Betts could have jumped into the stands and that dude could have dry humped him but It’s still a home run.

Karma say stros win this one since betts acted like a bitch about it

um... This is an out. There is not an invisible wall.

Perhaps, but how many Saudi friendly butcher shops are there in Turkey?

Probably one or two. Useful for moving fucktards and information across the region and are part of the Hawala system for moving cash. You could tell who was backing the ones in Sarajevo (Saudi, Turk, Iran) by the posters and images on the calendars.

They are rivals for sure but they both go out of their way not to upset the other.

nah, they don't, you just rarely hear about it in the US press.

Ever wonder why the Saudi opposition in Syria never was given sanctuary in Turkey? Every hear about the battle for the Bosnian minds after the break up of Yugoslavia?

I’m asking what is the significance.

Whether or not Erdogan had a role in any of this isn’t really debatable, of course he did.  He at least had a hand in crafting/leaking the initial narrative.

I don’t know why that’s important or what angle, if any he’s going for other than authoritarian gonna authoritarian.

well see, there was this thing called the Ottoman Empire. And if you have spent anytime working in the Arab/Ottoman world you would know their perception on history is a tad bit different than ours. Erdogan wants to rebuild his empire. The Saudi's kind of block the way. They are not friends and never have been.
