Texas def. Harvard 4-0. They'll play Georgia Tech tomorrow. Winner of that match plays @ UCLA

Zeynalova has been pulled from singles. She still hasn't played a singles match in nearly 2 months.
-
Texas takes the doubles point over Harvard. 1-0 Texas headed into singles.
In pro tennis news, incoming Longhorn Maya Joint will play against former Longhorn Lulu Sun in a 100K final in Florida tomorrow.

Only a 20% chance of rain tomorrow in Lubbock, so no need to do a double header today. We win tomorrow and we're no worse than co-champs

Looking for any updates and the live stats link has stopped after 2 games into doubles.
They only played a couple games before the rain started. They're moving the match to the indoor center which is a 30-45 minute drive depending on traffic. Play scheduled to resume at 3pm

C'mon Kilfoyl, close this bitch out
-
That wind is really keeping everything inside the park. 14 total runs scored but no HRs
-
Goode has made the most of her opportunity subbing for injured Washington.

2-0 Tech after the first inning

Oh no the Tech pitcher has a changeup. Completely fooled Stewie

Texas def. Sac St 4-0.
Texas v UCLA tomorrow in the 2nd round. Their #1 Govind Nanda is legit, and should have a good battle with Spizzirri that most likely won’t finish. Texas is way deeper than they are
-
Spizzirri and Woldeab inexplicably lost their doubles match 6-1, but Texas still earns the doubles point by winning on the other 2 courts. Texas leads SacSt 1-0

Maya just beat Liv Hovde. They're the same high school class and Hovde has always been the number one recruit. Hovde won the 2022 Wimbledon juniors and then turned pro.
At this rate with no points to defend, Maya is on the cusp of making qualifying list for Wimbledon and should be on the list once the US Open rolls around. Tennis Australia will also be heavily invested and give her a main draw wildcard in 2025.
Can't see Maya doing all four years of college tennis. May pull a Schnaider- attend one semester and then turn pro. She has sounded really excited when talking about enrolling at UT next year.
Maya and Lulu Sun have been playing in the same ITF tournaments over the past few weeks, and I’m sure Lulu has been a good advocate for Texas in the locker room. Maya being a one and done just like Lulu has been my expectation. Just like Maya switched her nationality from USA to Australia, Lulu recently changed hers from Switzerland to New Zealand. Oceania is very trendy right now, apparently

Yeah some high scores today. ISU held on to beat Drake today 9-8

How does a professional baseball player not get a man on third home with one out?
How does that happen?
Yuli Gurriel spoiled us for years making that look so simple.

Vintage extra innings Astros tonight. Last night was an anomaly we may never see again this season.

Not sure why Texas sports took down the original upload, but here's the reupload since I can't edit my original post

heres the embed. Quick notes:
Sabina has been dealing with a back injury these past couple months and plans to play this weekend. We shall see.
He alluded to a freshman player on the team that was ruled academically ineligible this season, so Must be CKP.

A lot depends on whether Sark is able to add more “big humans” on defense from the portal. All new conference and all new receivers for Quinn make this season very tough to predict right now
