  1. Jax is a dumpster fire cesspool. Urbs will fail miserably within 2-3 years.
  2. Unfortunately, we’ve had lots of practice recently.
  3. Just hope Sark get enough time (away from the UT BMD and LHN bs) to be able to scheme against defenses like he’s probably getting at Alabama.
  4. Likewise, sad to see anyone, especially parents go through that. DM me if you all need any support.
  5. So very sorry for your loss. As a parent, I cannot begin to image what that must be like. Stay strong for your family, but know that you’ve got a group here that will listen to and grieve with you anytime. Prayers and condolences from my family to yours.
  6. My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 60, he’s now 75, but outlook is not good. He’s in the final few weeks / days now as he’s having issues swallowing anything. He had the deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery and that helped control his tremors for a few years. He was diagnosed with dementia around age 70. We made the tough decision to put him in a memory care home after my mom couldn’t take care of him any more. For example, he would wake up at 3am and want to go to work, he had 2 unexplained car crashed (driving into a barrier in a parking lot) and finally got to where he wouldn’t recognize me or my sister. It’s a heart-breaking end to a long life, but he was in top shape (5’7” and 150 lbs) all his life, so really just got dealt a shitty hand.
  7. We have a TCL Roku TV and the HBO Max app showed up a week or so ago. Maybe give it a look or search to see if you can add it.
  8. Man, keeping Fields in is so irresponsible on Ohio state’s part. Announcers trying to down play it. Gonna ruin the kids career or worse.
  9. He sounds like he’s interviewing for his next job - gives all credit to his players, etc.
  10. It’s telling that Herman does not look like a happy, confident coach after winning a bowl game (yes, even though it was the Alamo bowl).
  11. Having to settle for 3 on that first drive is going to come back to bite us this game.
  12. Thanks for all the info. It’s looking like Vancouver. We’re taking a trip up there next week to scout it out. We’re leaning towards the Felida / Salmon Creek area, located in the northwest part of Vancouver.
  13. Wife landed a pretty nice general counsel job for a company in WA state and they gave her the choice of living near the Tacoma-area manufacturing facility or near the Vancouver, WA-area facility. We’re currently in Houston. The Vancouver facility is larger and she’d have more visibility with other execs there, but the Tacoma area is closer to Seattle (more jobs) - in case my boss decides I can't work remotely on a permanent basis. I *think* I’ll be able to keep my finance job since I’ve been doing it remotely without issues, but I’m not sure. We have 2 kids, so schools are important (at least to my better half). Thoughts and anything else I should be considering?
  14. Yeah, we had a colleague at work who had it. He passed out while taking a shower. When he was in the hospital, they took an image of his head to check if he had any brain trauma and found he had glioblastoma. He was gone within a year and a half. He was 35.
  15. Taqo on 13th and Yale opened up recently, but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll report back if I can get away for lunch this week.
  16. Agreed, ball still moving when he stepped OOB
  17. Nice, penalty-driven drive, but I’ll take it!
