Fire extinguishers for home?

what's your setup?

I'm thinking:

Basement - Class C (electrical)

Ground floor, near kitchen - Class C + Class B (liquids) + Class A (ordinary combustible)

Upper floor - Class A

im thinking C in basement due to workshop, wiring and electrics.  for ground floor, class A takes care of the fireplace, or grilling in backyard; and B is for kitchen.  and then on upper floor where bedrooms are, the only risk would be i dunno a fucking candle lighting up the curtains

I thought K was for meth labs and serious chemists

Didn't know there were multiclass extinguishers either.  Inherited a rather large ABC unit with the house but it's dated 1998 and hasn't been checked or certified since then.  Guessing it's as good as trash

It’s out of service life. I think they are good for 10 or 15 years. I can’t remember off hand.
