Attending a visitation in Denton for a close friend of my in-laws who died last week on Friday night. Wife and one of our good friends (daughter of another of the deceased's closest circle of friends) are planning on eating somewhere in Denton afterward (it ends at 6 on Friday). Wife and I ate at a place in the Square several years ago on our way to Winstar for a Seinfeld show. The Square is good. So are good places off the Square.

Probably a little casual, but when my son was at UNT, he loved it when I would host him and his friends at Hoochies Oyster House.  Fun place, especially when the trains went by!

I thought Tim Love opened up a place near the square, to the east, but don't know if that survived or whether you would be generally opposed to patronizing him
