  1. Fuck no. 1) Barring a major economic setback or $6 gas nationwide, he ain't winning in 2024. 2) He is the GOP now. He's their problem. Don't give them a way out to return to "normal politics" and pretend that the last 8 years didn't happen. I want them to have to own that their only viable candidate and party leader--until his death and even in prison--is a convicted criminal. 3) I want Trump voters to have to own it too. A plea deal to remove him from politics would be the best case scenario for MAGA. "The deep state is terrified of Trump, and this was the only way to get rid of him." The true believers will always find a way to escape shame or placing any blame on Trump. But those closer to the middle who voted for Trump for some miniscule or imagined tax break, or fear of the border...know for the rest of eternity that you voted 2-3 times for the only felon President, and helped fucked over the country due to your selfishness and gullibility.

  2. If the significance of the Big 12 poaching a school from the Pac 12 (that isn't Wazzu or Oregon State) isn't abundantly obvious, I don't know why you'd even bother posting in this thread. The Big 12 has been kicked around for 15 years. The bulk of the schools for years had to sit there and listen to talking heads and blue blood fanbases tell us we were worthless participants that had no value and didn't deserve to exist. We were left on the roadside for dead, for what appeared to be the last time in '21. The Pac had a million opportunities to kill the Big 12, and didn't do it. It's a real life version of the scene in so many action movies where the plucky hero lays there wounded and the bad guy sits around, laughing and taunting our nearly dead protagonist, only for them to find some object lying around, to allow them to kill the cackling bad guy. Colorado was the object laying around, and it appears that against all odds, the Big 12 is not only going to survive, but kill off one of their chief historical antagonists in the process.

  4. Someone really smart needs to overlay the map of Ukraine on to the map of texas so we could hear this instead: Rumors are they’ve taken buda. One they get through San Marcos and new braunfels they can begin to take back San Antonio.

  5. What're you basing this on, exactly? Because as far as I can tell, a healthy chunk of this website have been more than happy to give Patterson literally the entire credit of last year's defense. Including our resident Texag/Football board types wailing and gnashing their teeth at the Satya style impending doom that they clearly believe is headed for our defense this season without Patterson. I'm not sure how some people can possibly give Patterson more credit for last year's defense short of dropping to their knees and taking ole Gare fully into their mouth like @TheMailBox357 does an Orangeblood podcast. As an aside, I'll let the rest of you figure out what that makes the hawt takes he spits on this board. Anyway, I'll give Patterson credit for helping with some great fucking gameplans in big games, and helping our defense find some cohesion and identity, and being a good practice presence. Of course I believe he was a net positive. But I also think a net positive was good coaching with multiple years in the same fucking defensive scheme. And specifically good coaching overcoming bad fucking habits from Tom Herman leftovers. And finding cohesion in a lot of coaches who'd never worked together before. In short, the truth is somehwere in the middle, and I'm pretty bullish on the *CHANCE* for our defense to continue to take another step forward this season even without Fat Gare. But who knows, maybe we fall flat on our fucking faces without Gary and it's all D'Shawn Jamison deep against Tech. And yeah, I'd love to have him back doing nothing but gameplanning Alabama, OU, TCU and K-State.

  6. IMMA: What the hell is happening in here? gern: Well, cruiser wants to send a .50 caliber to Ukraine, but painting it burnt orange might not be practical, and maybe just sending cash directly to a sniper is more efficient, but then we lose the vanity part of the project, we might send some patches instead to really get them excited to kill some commies, but we need a cartoon dick drawer to get on board, and instead maybe some surly leftover cups or stickers are better, possibly some ammo, so basically nobody knows what to get Andriy and Mykhailo to help win the war- there's a whole lotta shit we're trying to deal with -- IMMA: Oh, I thought there was a problem. Okay, well, uh… candlesticks always make a nice war weapon, and uh, maybe you could find out where their stronghold is and maybe we can get a RV and road-trip to deliver a sex tent or maybe a fake McRib. Okay, let’s get both! Go get β€˜em!

  10. It’s the glaring lack of the only kind of evidence that matters to me, @ztejas. The allegations are extraordinary: conservatively thousands of people from many different nations from republicans to democrats to fascist Italians to Soviets have had first-level contact with the tech and maybe the bodies. They’re in on the single biggest discovery in human history. And it’s all happened since the invention of the camera, film, radio, telegram, smart phone, internet. They’ve had to build facilities to hide them. And there’s not oneβ€” even oneβ€” credible photographic image or film. Let alone the thing itself. It’s a glaring hole and puts it beyond the level of believable for how humans and governments work.

  18. look, i'm not gonna tell you how to run your business or your threads but giving a pretty compelling thread title about sending a fucking .50 caliber sniper rifle of fucking terror death to ukranian soldiers to kill a bunch of invading shitheads and then pivoting to hey guys, how about we send some fun rub on fake tatoos to boost morale is a hell of a turn...and a fun metaphor for european foreign policy.

They'd get multiple games in Texas every year and their future with tv sets would be reasonably assured. I'm cheering for Arizona, ASU and Utah and for Oregon to get fucked.
