I was introduced to him with no country, and eventually took a road trip to California where I listened to the road, blood meridian, and child of God. CoG is personally the most disturbing book I've read.
RIP. I've been meaning to relisten to blood meridian.

I got my first culture victory last night. It's still the most confusing victory type for me but I was happy with a turn 223 win with only 5 cities as khmer.

A friend did that at UT around ‘91. He thought it was a good idea to drive his dad’s 1 ton Dodge farm truck while his car was in the shop. He’d parallel parked near campus. He looked out the rear view mirror and didn’t see anything and threw it in reverse. He ended up on top of one of those little Honda two door cars from the 80s. Put it in drive and took off. I always wondered what that person thought when they went to their car and the roof was crushed in.I did the same thing in my 20's but I was driving one of these

Scan results this week. Liver lesions have continued to shrink, about 50% down from dx. Colon mass is stable. Doctor said that's about as positive as anyone can hope for. I also am done with the ox, 6 rounds with that horrible beast and I'm glad to be done.
However, I have had new abdominal pain and pain while urinating (also I'm totally sure now that I don't like mixing pain with orgasms). It started about a week after my last scan so I've been dealing with it for two months. Piss tests showed no infections. Well this scan revealed that the colon tumor has tethered itself to my bladder and may be forming a colovesical fistula, fancy words for a tube that grows between the two and you can start pissing out shit. That part of my colon isn't hooked up anymore, so luckily I've been spared that.
Oncologist sent a referral to a urologist but it's been a week and they haven't scheduled an appointment yet. Really wanting to get this fixed. Will probably require a surgery.

I remember after the first chapter that I thought it would make a great intro episode. It's been a while since I've read the series so I don't remember half of it.

It's interesting that you had to fight for the cape, my doctor offered me a choice and the pills sounded a hell of a lot better than the pump. The ox blows, but sounds like upcoming round 7 will probably be my last.

Trust me, I'm not skimping on that. I have a collection of flower, pens, wax, and edibles. It certainly does help a lot and I'm glad I'm in a legal state.

The cumulative effects of chemo are starting to show up. I'm so god damn tired all the time. Appetite this week has fallen off a cliff. Scan coming on Wednesday.

Why did these cheerleaders not make a tactical retreat and return fire from a safe location? People just don't teach their children common sense anymore.

Should I watch this high? Feels like I should watch this high.
It is my personal opinion that every movie should be watched high.

My mom had reduction surgery about 15 years ago. She does get drunk fast but also sobers up quick, so she has to keep drinking to maintain. She does not deal well with edibles, they come on very fast and strong and she's reduced to a laughing mess for 40 minutes while everyone else is waiting for them to kick in.

Could have, but not for me (although I did have a temp one for a couple of months between surgeries). My butt function is 95% of what it was before cancer. The biggest reason is I skipped radiation as part of a clinical trial called PROSPECT. Radiation fries your insides and can have life-long side effects. Second reason is that the tumor was high enough that they didn’t have to excise the lowest parts, where they surgically reconnect your plumbing. Without those lower parts, it’s a permanent bag.I have a colostomy right now, they have said it's reversible but no one has given me any idea of what needs to happen first. As much of a pain in the ass it is, it's probably the most manageable part of this whole ordeal. Except emptying in public, god damn does that suck dicks.

That's great goof!
I got my first progress scan results yesterday. Lesions on the liver have shrunk slightly, no changes in the colon mass. A couple areas of concern in the lungs and kidneys but it's too early to make any assessment so we'll check back on that on the next scan in 8 weeks. Overall the Dr was pretty happy with the results.

Yeah, there is a lot of changes. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember judicial being a thing.
