  1. I will make this my own personal blog if y’all don’t want to contribute to the thread. I rode the course today and it was 53 and windy with light rain. Overall, felt great and almost ran a few after but decided to get beers instead.

I had my first wreck on my new bike. I pulled into an aid station and clipped and went to put my foot down and for the first time ever flawlessly clipped back in on accident ate shit in front of everyone. I was embarrassed for 32 seconds when someone else fell. I thanked them and we both laughed.

  2. Did an event with the Chattanooga triathlon club where you swim and run the Ironman 70.3 course today and bike it tomorrow. The water was cold as hell and had a hard time getting settled in but finished it in 35 minutes. Most only ran one loop on the run but I was feeling good and there was a hot 23 ish year old as we were coming up on the point where you turn back or do another loop and she said let’s do another one so I said why not. Finished the half marathon with a 1:40 and not a hard pace. This is the best I’ve ever felt before an Ironman. The look on my buddies face when they saw me running back with the hot chick made it all worth it. Also, the 5 Miller Lites at the luncheon after were the best I’ve ever had.

Yes, FSD failed this particular test.  It's actually a very difficult test.  It doesn't take a very critical eye to watch this and see that the test was engineered to result in failure.

    - The dummy was dressed in neutral colors and earth tones to blend in with the background vehicle and background vegetation and wall.

    - The dummy remained stationary until very late in the test.

    - The dummy was accelerated to a near instantaneous running speed at the last possible moment.

These conditions would be difficult for an unsuspecting human driver.

O'Dowd is a disingenuous and untrustworthy Tesla FSD critic.  He is a competitor, and he is not above manipulating and falsifying experiments to show the results that support his arguments. Previous videos from O'Dowd have showed a warning on the Tesla screen indicating that the accelerator is being pressed by the human operator to override FSD's automated actions.  O'Dowd has passed these off as FSD failures when the failure is actually due to the overriding actions by the human operator.

This particular video has a warning on the screen that appears to be unrelated to FSD, but if multiple warnings are active, you can cycle through them to see the one you want.  There is something weird happening in this test.  In the first three tests, you can see the vehicle start to decelerate as it approaches the crosswalk and sees something, but it doesn't stop.  That leads me to believe that O'Dowd and his team are gaming the warning displays and actually slightly pressing the accelerator during these tests, effectively overriding FSD's automated actions.  I would like to see this test completed on a vehicle with no visible warnings on the screen.

I would also like to see videos from O'Dowd with the technology he supports passing this same test.

You make people who blame rape victims look sane. lol

So I spent over an hour with a Mach-E GT Performance today and it's a really solid car. Handling is bit better than the MY, but you lose the ground clearance and it still drives like an SUV/Crossover. After $10k of discounts, OTD price was $70K. So ~$17K more than an M3 LR with the $2K performance update (which beats the Mach-E 0-60 time). And the M3 has 70-80 miles more range.

In summary, fuck no, I'm not spending $17K more for less performance and (mostly) less features.

Unlike some of you neckbeard fucks, I'm out in the streets actually looking for a car that meets my needs, that's all that matters to me. It's really easy to spend someone else's money, so you can eat all the dicks in the world and I'll buy the car that I want.

And I ain't even got a garage you can call home and ask my wife

If they will let them play we can beat Purdue. I don’t know how much you’ve watched of Purdue but their big guy gets a lot of calls. Purdue coach yesterday was already planting the seeds.

Also they beat us by 4 to start the year and they shot 48 free throws.

look, a world can't exist where Tennessee and Texas face each other in the tournament, because it's impossible for both Barnes AND Terry to lose in the second round. Somebody gotta lose in the first round.

    Probably both.

Who wants to lose it more ????? Stay tuned !!!

  8. My fear of flying is unrivaled. I thought I was over it and booked a plane ticket to San Antonio when Tennessee was playing Texas AM and pussed out and drove anyways. My last flight to Brazil I had 9 beers at the airport and was still in shambles the entire time. This thread has not helped me at all!
