This coaching hire is the equivalent of your neighbor with the jacked up King Ranch F-250 that was totally useless for his 15 mile daily commute on city roads. Everybody knew he couldn't afford it, so when he announced he was trading it in only to show up with a brand new Yukon Denali it became obvious he just went deeper in the hole for something that didn't match his means or needs at all.

I’ve seen some great shit on the internet ( porn specifically) but this might be the funniest and most accurate thing I think I’ve ever seen and I read my father’s obituary online. Well done ol son.

  2. I had an absolute blast stripping wetsuits today at the Chattanooga Ironman and it was nice to see it from that perspective for a change. I highly recommend volunteering for an event if it is close to you. I went back down about mid afternoon to watch run transition and I cannot wait to suffer there next year.

  3. My step father dying of cancer and my father shooting hisself literally hours apart. I was on my way to a lunch meeting to finalize taking a new job. I thought I handled it pretty well until my son was born 6 years later and I realized he will never know his grandfather and all of the things he will miss out in that respect.

Like Slorch it has really made me less empathetic to trivial little bullshit that a lot of people get wrapped up in and I am not saying that’s always a good thing.

Its his life long story, if you read about his youth, he picked on and shunned by his peers. His father kept sending him off to some wilderness camp each year and each year he got his ass beat while there.

He's the weird kid from a wealthy family that wants to fit in and be accepted and liked so bad yet everyone knows he's the weird kid so they make fun of him.

This has carried over into adulthood, he's done some pretty innovative things but hes still begging for acceptance yet his children hate him, his turned his ex into a lesbian and I would wager most of his "friends" only accept him for his power and or influence.

Who would have thought the worlds richest man would be such an insecure whiney lil bitch

It’s why I choose to be poor white trash. I like friends.

There's not much mystery to Elon: if there's authoritarian dick to suck, he'll be the guy kneeling and bobbing on it.  His rate of "siding with authoritarian states" is pretty close to a perfect 100%.

Elon is a fucking authoritarian tool.  He's an unabashed enemy of all free people, everywhere.  Don't try to apply any bullshit nuance to it, there really isn't any.  In any given situation where there's the interests of an authoritarian state on one side, and ANY contrary interest on the other side, he'll pick the authoritarian state.

Elon is the classic douche that runs around with the tough guy while being  biggest pussy in the group. He craves the acceptance of a tough guy.

I've been running for 20 years now and a month or so ago I started getting consistent knee soreness for the first time in my life. I run 4 or 5 days a week, 5 to 6.5 miles depending on the route. Two months ago I upped my running from 3 days a week to my current 4 to 5. So no doubt the extra running has contributed. I moved to Salt Lake City two months ago and took on some aggressive hikes and did my first half marathon in the first month I was here. The soreness was especially pronounced after those hikes and half marathon and was likely the initial source of the soreness.

How do y'all handle knee soreness? I've started to ice my knees a couple times a day. I changed out my low-cushion shoes for some very high-cushion shoes a couple of weeks ago. That seems to have helped. I'm going to avoid hiking as well for a while and I'm debating getting knee sleeves to see if they help.

ice, stretching and resting more every now and then.
