  1. LOL at any of you who really believe that Trump's passing (hello, FBI) improves our situation. He opened the fucking floodgates, and the MAGATs are forming lines from Longview to Morgantown to register as America First dumb fucks in every level of election. I can't even imagine what a state funeral for dotard will look like. I'm expecting nothing less than every government building being required to be gilded in gold in his honor. The cretins in congress and the senate will crawl over one another to name airports, buildings, roads...hell, fucking CITIES after Trump. It's OVER. Democracy LOST. There are no sensible, grounded "conservatives" or GOP members who want to guide us back to normalcy. The Dems clutched their pearls and brought a Subway sandwich to a gunfight. The oligarchs behind the GQP have everything they need to perpetuate their vision. I hope George W Bush rots in hell for not having the balls to use what was left of his voice in 2016 or 2024 to call the old guard Republicans back home & open the eyes to ten or fifteen percent who might have been persuadable. We're fucked.
  2. Given what's unfolding this morning, I amend my earlier remark to state that if we make it through SEPTEMBER it will be a significant accomplishment. Trump to send through National Guard to the Twin Cities in 3...2...1.
  3. The McDonald's and Russian lapel pins are a nice touch.
  4. Agree with this 100%. Maybe it was due to the focus of the topic being one album vs an entire career, but Deliver Me From Nowhere is just so much tighter than his TP biography.
  5. "NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!" shouted from the guy who has escaped punishment for decades of immoral and illegal activities is quite the flex.
  6. Almost can't wait to hear the ESPN heads on Unsportsmanlike come Monday. After Sanders' first game they were all anointing him as starter, ridiculing all of the teams that passed on him, etc.
  7. I'd almost forgotten how much Tim Brando's voice annoys the fuck outta me.
  8. Maxwell added "not only was he perfectly behaved, he was dashingly handsome, virile, and exudes a magnetic charm that women find irresistible. He's the perfect male package." I mean, if she's gonna carry his water to gain favors then go the whole way, bitch.
  9. He's just throwing gasoline on the fire at this point.
  10. Omar "oh indeed" goes here. As much as my aggy BIL hated losing to Texas, nothing got him more worked up than Leach dragging his nuts across the 12th Man's face.
  11. The outfit says she's down for the dirty, but the look on her face says she questions your choice of the 10W-40 when you live in a climate where 5W-30 is clearly the better fit for your driving conditions.
  12. So why did 3 or 4 of the suspects all tell the police in their interviews that the first they heard about the murders was when they stopped at a gas station on the way to San Antonio where Springsteen thought he was going to hookup w/ another girl? Why would anyone think a bunch of juvenile delinquents joyriding in a stolen car on a booty call hunt are going to stop to buy a newspaper?
  13. Someone should ask how US military deployed overseas are supposed to vote w/o mail in ballots.
  14. That 30 second "fight" was the most cardio either of those fat fucks experienced in at least 5 years. Surprised they both didn't stroke out from exertion.
  15. I didn't think to do this, but my friend told me how he watched coverage of the summit yesterday on YTTV and it was brilliant. He used multi-view and saw the coverage simultaneously by MSNBC, CNN, Fox, etc. He was watching live and seeing essentially the same feed from all 4, until the moment Putin got into the Beast. Only Fox cut away so as not to show Putin getting a ride in the presidential limo. The other 3 channels covered the whole thing.
  16. Got my vasectomy from Dr Chopp in '05.
  17. Yeah, the toothless former detective said point blank that Polanco could get people to confess to things when they weren't even there. And the other detectives knew that he was getting bogus confessions from suspects. Being the principled public servants they immediately spoke up and told their superiors and said "no, you've got the wrong guy here. Polanco beat a confession out of the dude. He's innocent. We need to go back and investigate further to make sure we catch the real killer!" Right?
  18. As far as the series goes so far, Margaret Brown isn't exactly showing herself to be a world-class documentarian. Part of that may be due to the footage sourced from so many different providers and other filmmakers, but she's meandering all over the place and not doing a good job clearly tracking the key dates & players along the way. And Austin and APD is looking really backwoods so far. The interrogation footage in the next episodes is gonna be the red meat.
  19. Yeah and as usual he's totally lying about the facts. Stallone ALWAYS planned on playing Rocky. He shopped it that way to every studio. They wanted to buy it outright & use another actor, but he refused to sell unless he was guaranteed the part. But dotard always thinks his story is the most entertaining story so fuck the truth.
  20. To each their own, but that watch reminds me of a prop on MST 3K.
  21. And that Easter egg is a perfect encapsulation of the Wire's brilliance.
  22. If we make it through November it will be a significant accomplishment.
  23. So only one kid dead vs dozens in Uvalde? See how much better things are under Trump's strong leadership? -- Greg Abbott
  24. I think that scene w/ Rawls in the gay bar was also to let the viewer know that he was always hiding something. Personally. Professionally. He was always working an angle. The cops all seemed to accept him as a hard ass whose job was to deliver the numbers. He was scheming & even devious, but he didn't have political suction due to being a white cop in Baltimore. Everyone hated him so the odds of him ever being found in the gay bar were slim. And there was a definite undertone of homophobic cops. Kima was the only openly gay cop that I recall.
