  1. "Susie who? I never knew her. She might have taken my coat once or maybe brought me a Diet Coke when I pushed the button on my desk. Anyway she's useless. A horrible person. Bad judgment. Nobody I asked seems to remember her but they didn't like her. And frankly she was ugly. Next question. "
  2. That's the most rational Woods has sounded in years. But he's still cradling TFG's balls with the nonchalant "distasteful" criticism. Distasteful? That's all you've got? For a man who you openly profess your admiration, appreciation & outright love to because of the opportunities, respect, & compassion he showed you? "Hey Donald. Rob was a friend of mine whom I deeply respected. Stop being an asshole & calling him 'deranged' simply because he disagreed with your policies. Try showing some respect for a person who fiercely loved this country & worked to support her ideals vocally & publicly." Would that have been so hard, Jimmy?

Oh fuck this news all to hell. It's been a good 15 years or so since we last saw him at Gruene Hall. It was a cold December night just before Christmas and the place was pretty full. I remember how he just casually strolled in through the front door past us as we were sitting by the stove. He nodded and said "hi" then a few minutes later was on stage & burning the place down with his performance. Gonna be a whiskey and Letter to Laredo night tonight.
  4. Rolo...Tamasi. And if you don't consider this among the best Christmas--or any season--movies ever you're a booger eating moron.

  6. There is no dark humor as hysterical as Brooks relaying to Reiner how Brooks' father passed away at the Beverly Hilton immediately following a comedic routine where he brought down the house. "Is there a doctor in the house?" and the crooner sent onstage to sing his big hit of the day (that was about a lover being destroyed by grief) to settle the audience.
  7. That's not measles. Those are Freedom Scars!
  8. Well damn.
  9. Nailed the 60 yarder!!
  10. Can Rivers get them 10 more yards for a FG try?
  11. That'll do, Pig. That'll do.
  12. Cook with the TD. Bills back up.
  13. How sweet was the hand off after the pick? That looked like a Team USA 4x100 exchange.
  14. Burrows pick 6. Buh-bye, Bengals.
  15. Pats house the run on the next series. What a game.
  16. Watching the live update now. 2 confirmed dead w/ 7 still hospitalized. They keep remarking about a "unique characteristic to his weapon" that helped to identify it as the one used in the shooting. And now the special report on the Brown University shooting is broken into to report a mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia with at least 11 dead by 2 shooters using long guns and targeting a Jewish gathering for the celebration of Hannukah.
  17. CBS Sports Network is broadcasting the march on. Pretty frigging cool.
  18. That's worse than Dukakis on a tank.
  19. This one's gonna be tough to beat, folks. Big lead in the clubhouse.
  20. Well, yeah...the technicians rewarded for achievements in sound and SFX are known to be freaky. /nokinkshame.
  21. Hey Texas, Indiana just showed you how it's done. Fuck you Paxton, Abbott, Patrick, et al.
  22. His is by far the tiniest prick she's ever felt.
  23. So take that bad cartoon, put US taxpayer on the left, Trump in the middle, and Donnie Jr on the right taking $620 million and you've got...self ownage?
  24. Same sentiment. U2, Lanois and Eno managed to capture the feel of a band sweeping in like an ominous (divine) bird of prey (redemption), flying over the desert and asking if you have the commitment to join them on that undetermined journey. "It's all I can do" is such a touchstone to the Glimmer Twins asking what else can a poor boy do 'cept sing for a rock 'n roll band.
