this argument never fails to make me laugh.

yeah i know lots of guys who turned into Coach K after 28 years of not being able to hack it, fair point!

Soooo, we can't fire him because he had early success last year, and we can't fire him for this season's dumpster fire, because early results don't matter...

I was in the Istanbul airport. 10 hour layover in the middle of a 42-hour trip.

Doesn't mean you don't need a new coke dealer.

Seeing as we're playing two teams we've beaten (Baylor at home, Oklahoma on the road) in addition to a home game against an Oklahoma State team that's 12-15, 4-10 I'd be happy to take your cash.
And that's excluding Tuesday's game at a team that's 3-5 in its last eight including losses to UCF, Cincinnati and TCU.

You know who else is 3-5 in their last 8...?

Even money says we get to 20 wins in the regular season. But people will still bitch when we lose to Houston in Kansas City and to UConn or Purdue in the Round of 32.

You think this team that is 6-8 in the conference is going to suddenly figure things out after 4 months of tripping over its own dicks way more often than not against anybody with a pulse, then win 3 out of its last 4, 3 of which are against better teams?

You're laying even money on that?

You're lucky I have an ethical problem with betting against my alma mater, or I'd make you my personal ATM.

This appears to be a relatively new term, at least to me. This lady acts like this stuff wasn't the basis of the Declaration of Independence. Am I a Christian Nationalist to believe there are natural rights not dependent on approval of the government?

Christianity absolutely was not the basis of the Declaration of Independence.  Most of the Founders weren't even Christians, and they most certainly did not establish a Christian nation.

As for "Christian Nationalism," that's nothing more than a recruiting buzzword.  The wealthy and powerful have used religion and patriotism to convince the poor and stupid to help them win elections and to serve as meat in their armies since the beginning of, well, religion and patriotism.  This new-ish term is just a recruiting buzzword that sounds noble to the stupid.  They can't just call it fascism, can they?

800 cops, open carry is legal and nobody could stop 22 people from getting shot.

All it would've taken to stop this was a good guy with a gun.
