  1. So to clear up a few myths. Truck stops are open. Restaurants are closed to seating but you can order to go. Same with the fast food joints in the truck stops. Showers are still open along with bathrooms. All of the scales I’ve passed from GA through upstate NY have been closed. Traffic has been much lighter in the cities I’ve passed through. Rest areas are open for parking only. I’m a little nervous about tomorrow. I’ve got a stop here in Syracuse and on in Albany. I hope they are open to receive. Trying to get a load back to Texas and will try to stay within a tank of fuel to the house in case it all shuts down. So far it’s been business as usual but I’m afraid that’s about to change as I think this is about to ramp up over the next week or so. Keeping myself entertained this weekend trying not to dwell on all the drama.
  2. I have a Spotify playlist of road songs.
  3. May contain salty language. And yes I do listen to trucking songs while I’m trucking. Don’t judge me.
  4. I had one before but I couldn’t figure out how to download video to share. This one makes it almost too easy.
  5. Austin has been pushed to May 29th https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.rollingstone.com/music/music-country/sturgill-simpson-tyler-childers-tour-dates-rescheduled-covid-19-967340/amp/
  6. Close. It’s a 230. I was streaming to my phone 5 minutes after plugging in. Company sells them to us for $25 if it’s our first cam. $148 online.
  7. I’ll have the lines short enough to turn but won’t be getting tangled up. I hat a T connection done so that I can still use airlines in the traditional way if I need to grab a different trailer for some reason. Also I think I still have to use glad and on the other end under the trailer. Some bullshit DOT rule. But the quick connects make it easier for when I drop the trailer. I can leave the air lines with the trailer instead of having to tie them up on the tractor somehow.
  8. That was what I was hearing too. Emissions would have to meet the truck not the engine. Most of the glider guys were doing it not only for emissions but to avoid the ELD mandate.
  9. I researched the gliders before I bought mine and there were just too many horror stories about warranty work battles between Fitzgerald and Peterbilt. Also rumors at the time of the feds cracking down on glider rules.
  10. Must have been Fitzgerald’s. I’m bummed to hear that there were so many the same color as mine. Iv actually only seen 3 others on the road since I got mine last year.
  11. ZZ Top might not be the best band in the world but I guarantee that there isn’t a cooler one. Great doc.
  12. Ran air and electric through the back of the tractor today. Will get the trailer done in the next couple of weeks. Will make for a clean safe catwalk.
  13. The new all carb diet. Those are chicken fingers.
  14. I’m still trying to decide on the breather. I kind of want to run purple lights but if I do I’ll wait until I get the whole truck done in dual revolutions.
  15. Salt free Sparkle Cake. And I did a thing
  16. Fuck everything! And just so y’all know, I’m not that asshole. 10 minutes with a broom can save a lot of heartache.
  17. My blizzard shelter. I see you Canada, you sneaky fuck.
  18. I know they have a creepy logo. are you thinking about driving for them? If so why would you want to pull reefer?
  19. Dump buckets are the worst of the worst. They aren’t on the clock they get paid by the load.
  20. This is what chasing the dollar has led to. I hate myself.
  21. My old set up. it was bare foot with just a peak and tune.
