Collins …. Recall the under armor or all american game or some such coming out of high school. He was repeatedly punk’d by some tackle headed to tosu. I remember thinking ‘this kid is a five star?’ He was pushed to the ground over and over - don’t remember him winning a single snap. It’s put up or get in the mfer for Collins this fall.

Way to fucking soon. why don’t you post picks from the okst game fuck job while you’re at it?
Yeah just fuck the big12 - get ready for more this year. I can’t imagine a scenario where we get treated fairly against tech, baylor, tcu, ok st, wvu, iowa st.

When does Texas?
Well we haven’t lost our spot at the top of the revenue / value heap even though we’ve had the worst 10 year stretch in our history. Relax.

Also forgot to add that we are about to embark on a historic run of goner beat-downs. Give LR credit for seeing it coming and gtfo to usc.

Fuck. That. Christ! It's like some of you spend your free time examining all available opportunities to fuck up a very good thing.
It’s not necessarily what I want but you have to recognize that fox and the b1g just went national and are going to look to add brands that they can sell nationally - like the domers, usc, and Texas. In the pay for play era you also want alumni with deep pockets that will crank out quality year after year - like the domers, usc, and Texas.
Unregulated semi pro ball just took away the one dirty advantage the sec has capitalized on. Saban sees it and will be punching out soon. The poors in the sec simply won’t be able to keep up save for a few.

Fox and b1g are basically betting that the regional paradigm of college football in the semi pro era is dead. If so, I think fox and b1g have a unique opportunity right now while ESPN is slow rolling TX and ou. Fox and b1g should bag nd and then do whatever it takes to steal TX and the gooners before the sec ink dries. B12 buyout? It’s covered. A conf of mich, tosu, nd, usc, tx, ou, and yes even neb would have unmatched national content with seven of the eight ‘bluebloods’ in football. Wisc, msu, ucla, iowa, pedo are more than adequate next tier draws for national tv eyeballs. Throw in mia for the florida markets and flow of money through fox and 3rd tier rights would dwarf what espn could do with the sec, acc, and b12/pac scraps.
Two or three premier matchups each weekend with other schools that actually play school. Better than having a bunch of inbreds and aggy invading Austin 2-3 times a year.

I’m no guru but I think Brooks is the best of the lot. Bear in mind we have senior film on him so it’s a little unfair as a comparison.
You know I was super high on Terrance brooks based on what I saw when he was in high school. But didn’t he completely whiff on a couple weak arm tackles in the spring game? Like he was afraid of the contact? Maybe I saw it wrong …

Now I know this is bullshit, because any real Texas fan would have said, "Ok, cool Hook'Em!'
Probably one of the few great artifacts from the Herman era. Ok cool Hook’em.

@GringoSalado It is not like they are not interconnected. Our inability to sustain drives, exhausts our own defense is a problem. On paper, the keys to fix this are there now. The defense though.... It doesn't seem like such an easy fix
Pretty good take. We make a few more sustained 2nd half drives this year and our defense magically will be middle of the pack. Actual defensive continuity and improvement will put them in the top 30 or so.

.24 at 6:30 am. That mfer know how to party. I’d be passed out in a pool of vomit. Respect.

All kidding aside, there is a lot of truth to this. These kids endure a lot of crap and I don't think the blows are lessened by being compensated via NIL. I don't think the kids in our program will be psychologically crushed if we don't win the national title or the Big 12. They know what kind of team we really have. But bizarre losses like the one to Kansas, and all of the public humiliation that comes with that, really hits these young men hard.
Sark is in control of much of this. He can ad players from the portal at key positions to bolster the team. He can call plays that suit our players and not a system. He can hire the proper coaches and not retain coaches that have obviously failed down to an unacceptable level. It is very difficult to square Sark caring about the mental health of our players with the decisions he makes.
I read this post and realized I will never get that time back as I get closer to death. Thanks mother fucker.

Member when major went on the road to Nebraska as a pup. Zero fear … difference maybe is that we didn’t have shit in the trenches back then but still you could see he was a gamer. Card seems to have no pocket presence or just plain scared. I doubt it changes in big games this year unless the trenches have a significant upgrade.

I am not liking how this schedule sets up for Texas
Texas will do what they always do and that is dick off against ULM and "try and keep it simple to not give it all away" while ignoring that fucking Alabama already knows 110% of the shit that Sark will do so no need to "keep it simple to be double top secret"
Alabama gets a lot tougher test against Utah State for their first game and Utah State will already have a game under their belt prior to Alabama and of course Alabama does not do the "double top secret" shit because it is no secret they are going to try and butt fuck you onto submission and stomp your ass more after that
so those two opening games set up like shit for Texas especially if Texas does not approach ULM as a game to simply try and run to perfection 100% of what they plan to do all season and fuck the "guard the playbook" shit
after that is UTSA that will be doing all they can to make a name for themselves and even if Texas manages a decent win well it is still UTSA after probably not a great outcome against Alabama and if UTSA is even close then shit can get bad fast from then on because.....then Tech at Tech
then WVU and even at Texas well that can be ugly all the more so depending on the prior games....plus easy to overlook them for the next "big game" OU
after OU won or lose is ISU that Texas is always under prepared for
then OkState on the road that always wants to prove something against Texas (they all do and Texas never seems to get that ever)
then KSU (see ISU)
then TCU who knows how that will go, but by then the season will be mostly written for Texas
then Kansas......hero or zero here........1 loss maybe 2 or gets fired before he can fuck up and lose to Kansas twice
then Baylor.....with either something to build on or something to consider firing a coach over on the line
this schedule could not be much worse on terms of how it falls for a team in the position Texas is in
Afraid of shadows I see. Bama and Kansas are the only games of concern next year. Ignore all the negative shit about sark and the coaching staff. I challenge you stupid fucks to id five staffs in the country that are clearly better than the Texas staff top to bottom.

What a bunch of Nancy’s on this thread. It’s springtime. We have practice reports to jerk off to. Quit being a bunch of faggots and take a sip of the flavor. Considering the actual performance over the last ten years and multiple off season fuckery, this might be the only time of the year to be happy. So I’m not sipping …. I’m chugging.
10 wins minimum bitches. I know that bama and Kansas away are both losses but the rest of the schedule is trash. Every decent team last year suffered extreme turnover and we actually have a year of stability plus legit offensive upside and a defense that can’t be any worse statistically. It’s like skulling a 100 yard wedge that ends up 6 inches from the hole. The scorecard doesn’t care how you made a birdie.
rant over. More whisky.

Ewers is a rookie at the college game.
Other than Bijan other teams in conference have guys who are just as good and some better.
It's easy to overrate your own players because you don't see the quality of the other teams' players this time of year.
This a shit take and you should feel bad. We are loaded with skill talent on O. Just enjoy it when it’s clicking which should be often. Some timely stops on D in the 2nd half this year will translate to many more wins … and don’t forget that every top team in the B12 (OU, OSU, BU, and ISU) are taking a big step backwards this year with graduation and transfer impacts. I’m with the 10 win crowd a hell of lot more the five win crowd. Quit being a pussy.

My general theory is we will continue to suck until we take the stupidly redundant collar Longhorn off the jersey. Your move Nike.
Uniform instability is serious shit. Look at tech basketball unis against duke. Tech lwas clearly the better team but they fucked it up down the stretch. Duke unis looked tight and that was a clearly the difference in the game.

Posted this on another thread but T Brooks is going to be a huge upgrade at corner. Barring injury this guy is a minimum 2.5 year starter and will be in the league for a while. Enjoy his time on the 40.

10 wins certainly in play this year. You negative Nancy fucksticks need to consider:
- We will be better on offense and improved on defense and benefit from a second year of a good staff. One or two games improvement right there
- The much bigger factor is what’s happened to the teams that beat us last year. Baylor, ok st, and Iowa st graduated everyone. Oklahoma got fucked by Riley with major turnover on the roster.
- tcu and tech are breaking in new staffs which should help.
- it’s a given we lose to bama and Kansas. Maybe one other loss and we go 9-3 but 10-2 should be a realistic expectation.- 2

One other thing. T Brooks (barring injury) is going to be at least a 2-3 year starter at corner … big nfl future for this guy. Enjoy his time at Texas.

Doesn't seem like you get much of anything, then. I like Sarkisian just fine as a dude on the tv screen. Seems nice enough. I give a fuck about the UT football program though, and in that regard, he's fucking terrible. Congrats on being able to look past that.
This is complete crap and you should be ashamed. Sark will do well here and I will enjoy the fucking silence from this jackass as the year goes on.

Is there some sort of mask mandate that can be applied here such that we don’t have to see this during the game? I’m afraid our players are going to be distracted by this barnyard freak show. Jeez

Been out on spring break for the kids and watching my first game (tcu). No CR but why the fuck are cheerleaders and photographers wearing masks and literally nobody else in the ducking arena is wearing a mask? Is every game the same way? Some ncaa bs?

Normally I’d say this kind of thug hood rat shit is indicative of a team playing close to the edge and likely to compete and maybe win a title.
But it’s fucking aggy. They’ll fuck it up as always.
How many wins will Texas have this season?

It’s 9. Bama and KU are losses. We will drop one more to either OSU, OU, or Baylor. The others aren’t going to keep up with this offense.
