  1. Wife works for IBM and they're gonna comp a few nights of hotel. Question - if I'm leaving for a few days and want to kill water supply & drain, will pilot mode on the water heaters be enough? Should I just turn them off entirely? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  2. 34 hours with no juice. Pipes seem to have made it and the house is well insulated. All said it could be much worse but fuck PEC for this Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  3. Pedernales Electric can eat a dick. Going on 24 hrs without power and these cunts do nothing but post a generic twitter update once a day. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  4. 12 hours without juice near Drip. Bedroom pipes started flowing again so it's not all bad news... Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  5. 25 minutes down near Drip. Rest of the family sound asleep while I'm up worrying about shit. On the positive side I can watch Netflix in the Tesla... Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah - bathtub & other sink are good in the same bathroom. I'll just kill it and be done with the worry.
  7. Now no cold water from one sink in the master... every other faucet in the house is good. time to hit the main cutoff in the garage?
  8. Now no cold water from one sink in the master... every other faucet in the house is good. time to hit the main cutoff in the garage?
  9. Worth replacing towels inside spigot covers with warm ones from the dryer? Not sure if that's worth the trouble or if I just need to not worry so fucking much.
  10. Mid-day tomorrow how fucked are roads going to be from Austin to Caldwell?
  11. Meanwhile APH can't get their head out of their ass - Is any other provider struggling to provide timely second shots? Unbelievable but not really.
  12. APH Pre-Registration site is live https://covid19.austintexas.gov/s/?language=en_US
  13. I think APH was the primary there - there were people answering questions in line while we waited about 45 minutes. Lots of stations inside with APD/AFD & other orgs assisting/giving vaccines. I overheard an APH (I think) supervisor saying tomorrow was scheduled from 2-7 with an appointment required. No idea if they're actually going to turn anyone away - nobody was asking about appointments or pre-conditions tonight.
  14. Got my dose at Delco thanks to you assholes. Heard 2-7 tomorrow. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  15. Big fan of watching a movie for scenic endurance rides. Nice break from the usual classes.
  16. Just keeping feet/knee/hips in line throughout the stroke - I found that much easier with clipped shoes than without. I do wish they didn't go with Delta cleats as they are tougher to find but just about every bike shop I checked out had at least a pair or two to try. Definitely something to try on in-person unless you've got voucher cash to burn online. On that note if anyone wants a 100$ code for shit on-purchase... F5V2K7
  17. You should absolutely get clipped shoes in my opinion - I won't pretend to be a cycling expert but you're missing out on half of your stroke and losing your hamstrings along the way. Not to mention alignment & other benefits.
  18. It just feels like everyone is on the same page... players have clear direction and the consistency is showing. Will be really interesting to see what happens in the market. AMN has looked too good and is too versatile to let go. Gotta hope we can get Ceballos in. Sounds like Holding might be moving. Torreria sadly not working out. Can we get a decent number for Martinez? Lotta questions...
  19. Probably taken the most rides with Alex. Matt is a beast. Ben Aldis house rides are some of my favorites on the platform. Emma, Dennis and Corbin are good as well. Ally Love is probably the only instructor I really avoid. Just hit #700. Not sure I'd stay sane without being able to ride the bike on demand. Long late night rides when the family is asleep are awesome. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  20. Alex is probably my favorite instructor. Dennis Morton & Ben Alldis are great as well. Emma ain't bad and keeps the cheer leading to a minimum most of the time. Been trying to get my monthly mileage up so I'm throwing on podcasts and knocking out hour long scenic rides which is a nice change of pace. Makes me want to get a road bike...
  21. Bought ours for the wife two years ago - she never uses the damn thing... Didn't think I'd use it much myself but I gave it a shot. I wouldn't say I was overweight but after some consistent work I ended up quickly dropping ~30 pounds and obviously improved my overall health immeasurably. It's certainly a luxury item and the subscription cost can sting a bit but I've wasted far more over the years on memberships and other bullshit. Almost two years to the day and I just clocked my 600th ride. I can't recommend it enough to anyone who asks. Definitely get some Bluetooth earbuds - a good HR monitor is nice as well. Good/fitted shoes make a huge difference but can wait. Good luck!
  22. Fuck em. The location near Dripping Springs always smelled like bleach and wet carpet. Terrible service and shit food apart from a few items that they couldn't serve half the time Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
  23. What a fucking strike!
