People that get married during football season
Guys that get married in jeans and cowboy boots. Sorry, but how I was raised my grandmother and parents told me that shit was tacky and I couldn't agree more. Grow the fuck up and get married in a suit or tux like the rest of us.
Loose fitting white shirt and pants on a beach in Mexico guy says howdy!- 3

Mrs. Brat doesn’t care to converse very much.
I am truly blessed.
Biting your tongue for 5 decades or so will probably make conversation painful. -
Miller's Crossing and Goodfellas premiered within three days of each other in 1990. Miller's Crossing is the better movie.
Millers Crossing was on this weekend and as soon as I saw it was on I watched it. And I do that almost every time it’s on. The writing, casting, cinematography and acting are near perfection. Goodfellas is fantastic but if I see its on I can usually “meh” on past it. Maybe it’s because Goodfellas seems to be on 24/7 in its edited form on some satellite station or another. Head down, mouth shut and let it run its course. Be supportive if consulted but there’s nothing you can really do to help, but all kinds of ways you can get sideways with her by playing Mr Helper.

Do large tractors have some type of LoJack system in them? On my way home I’ll see a couple of really nice tractors out in the rice fields that had to have been well over 400k just sitting in the same spots fairly close to the highway for several days. Seems like some nefarious types with access to a semi could make off with one fairly easily and be gone for hours or even a day or two without it being noticed. Always seems like a big investment to just be sitting there unattended on wheels or tracks.

Yeah, I’m not eating Whataburger wings.

Don’t try this at home, even with these extremely detailed instructions.

IDGAF. I have my tickets to the Def Leppard / Journey / Cheap Trick show this summer and I can't wait. Wife will be drunk and ready to party to hair metal, power ballads, sweet keyboard solos, and kick ass dirty 70s rock and roll (courtesy of Cheap Trick). You're all jealous, you just don't know it.
This is the perfect old dude concert lineup. Two great bands then leave before Def Leppard, beat the parking lot traffic jam and home early for a good night’s sleep!- 1

Not hand made mind you. And they probably used some type of knife. -
Same. Year I was born.
Me too, but I was born 24 years earlier. -
It was his wife's chicken salad, and that shit is really fucking good!
Seriously, it's a fucked-up story: https://people.com/man-sentenced-murdering-target-coworker-accused-stealing-lunch-8553686
It’s weird that some random coworker can just be some fucked up psychopath waiting to snap. Or at least that’s how a bunch of guys I used to work with put it.- 1

The Brave One (1956). A Mexican kid tries to get a Presidential pardon for his pet bull instead of some matador killing it in the ring. It had 3 stars but that entire killing the bull culture is/was just too fucked up.

Wing 3's are harder than corner 3's IMO. Good value there if you are a shooter.
I am NOT a shooter, so I'm going for the FT.
This entire thing hinges on whether it’s a gamble or a gift. If I can just try for a million then I’m going to bomb away, if there’s a chance I can lose a dollar I’ll just be waiting in the truck. -
He was pretty much out of acting since the 90’s. Wonder what he did for a living?

Are we still doing the diversity thing? Denise Middleton is the MILF I believe we can all get behind.

There’s probably a thread but I did a search and didn’t see anything. (I really did) Who’s seen One Love? I tend to stay away from musician biopics as they tend to be sanitized hero worship. But Marley was a huge influence on me musically from the 70’s on, and I love all his stuff from his Rock Steady days until his death. The commercials almost seem Disneyesque, with him sitting around a campfire strumming a guitar singing to his kids. The man had a very rough life growing up, and was an unapologetic serial adulterer. Any of that type stuff covered or is it all glossed over?

Joke would've killed in 1987
It’s pretty damn comical in 2024. But then again I definitely have social limitations. -
That lens, pose, crop combo isn't doing any favors. She might not actually have flippers for feet irl.
I’ll look over my shoulders next time and let you know.- 1

Not as old as a few of you folks but I was alive when Kennedy got shot riding in his car in Dallas.
I am on Hypertension meds, cholesterol - non statin (statins fuck with me), and daily dosage of Tadalafil for BPH.
About a month ago, I started the Heart Healthy Diet. Pretty simple, Half your plate is Vegetables and Fruit (concentrate on Vegetables), 1/4 grains and 1/4 protein. I manage to go without meat for dinner at least once a week. I quit salting things and I have managed to start eating more salmon and less red meat and have dropped fried foods. It's been a pain in the ass since we are cooking on most days instead of grabbing fast food a 2-3 times a week or Flautas from the bad ass cook on my block. That being said...
I have fewer aches and pains. I do have a nagging groin injury from a fall I took in December but I can get off the floor and sitting positions with more ease these days. Also my BP has been like 145-160/90-100 range every doctors visit up until yesterday when it was 117/67.
I went for a walk this afternoon and my resting HR was in the 50s at some point.
tl;dr -It's not too late to start eating better. It is a good thing and can do your body all kinds of good. I am hoping at some point I can get off all of my prescribed meds.
I guess I could just do 1/4 plate of protein.
That’s a lot of good news just for a single month’s effort! Good job!!- 1

KPRC’s Corley Peel seems talented. Not too sure about those Peggy Hill feet though…

Ok, here goes...
I watched Blazing Saddles for the first time a few nights ago. It's... ok? The funniest moments are the 3-4 that are always posted here in gif form. Not bad by any means, but I wouldn't care to watch it again.
This guy perhaps made me laugh the most:
It was groundbreaking for its time, we’d never seen a movie like it, but not many mid 70’s movies really completely hold up. Godfather is the main exception that comes to mind. I watched The Exorcist with my kid the other day and I told her how scary it was for everyone back when it came out. She was laughing at the effects half way through.- 3
