  1. SEC went Jeff Gillooly in the first 10 years.
  2. So, athletics' qualification instead of general student body qualification in return for being scout team?
  3. Mannings want a big long established fan base for those ad dollars.
  4. By the time I remember it was mulletpelini and not you I was past the edit window. Sorry.
  5. It is going to be hilarious when Harvard is paying multimillion dollar NIL and winning national titles.
  6. That goes to the owner and not the server. The server is making $2-3 tip per drink at 20%, are you ordering enough cocktails to equal the tips on apps, dinner, dessert, and a bottle or two of wine as that is what the server is thinking they are likely missing out on from a party camping at the table instead of a new party being sat at the table. If they flip tables three times a night and guests camp long enough that that can only flip it twice that is taking 1/3 of that table's potential for the night from the server. If your drink bill equals a dinner bill for the same amount of time occupying a table then no issue with that.
  7. I think it is known that I was a chef who became a stay-at-home parent nearly 25 years ago. That first quote reminds me of the sous chef that had 'yes chef' tattooed on his left forearm so he could just flash that to the head chef instead of replying. We teased him about putting 'no chef' on his right forearm and his reply was, ' there is no no chef.'
  8. If you're occupying a table longer than the amount of time it takes to have your meal you're reducing the amount of money the staff can earn. Tip appropriately to that.
  9. Generally choke points like that are intentional. Short staffed? Create a barrier to ordering so the kitchen isn't more overwhelmed. EDIT- I see this point has already come up. And yes we taught our kids to pay attention to how prospects treat service workers.
  10. Kind of the big law business plan to shed around half the associates to lead role in-house law jobs to keep outsourcing to big law. Signed spouse of former a V&E associate who went in-house about 20 years ago. She can still tell you the last day she logged billable hours.
  11. It takes Jimbo to hire a 63 year old that hasn't coached OL in over a decade stupid sip.
  12. Thanks. Purdue visit scheduled for end of February.
  13. I'm on team modern safety system's auto prevent many/most of the fender benders that people reason as the need teens in older cars.
  14. '80s classmate ran his IROC Camaro into his friend's Mustang, totaling both, on the way home from picking the IROC up from the dealership. Mustang in front braked hard for the yellow light while the IROC kid punched it to make the light.
  15. Unless he's got stuff of sentimental value in his dorm just replacing it is likely cheaper than going back and then moving it.
  16. Did anyone know he was anti-vax to pick him?
  17. There isn't a single name in that post that is presently at OU.
  18. I know someone who is unabashed about being a 'hostess' while attending Wofford.
  19. I think it is the latter. We've got some pretty unrealistic expections for getting portal guys to a team that was 5-7 when everyone is offering NIL.
  20. If he's an H Back for Sark's offense does that avoid the TE curse?
