Is it too late to get tickets to the Christmas Party? That's a much better idea I would think than general admission.

Umm, yes and no. If you want to strictly ride rides or participate in Xmas party only activities yes. Doing both is challenging.

I'm  a big fan hitting MK at rope drop for both Halloween party nights and Christmas party nights.  Most people w/o party tickets don't go on party days due to 7pm cutoff for being in the park and people with party tickets don't go early as they are going to be there late. If you want keep it going head to Disney Springs after you leave MK. We usually head to Boma for dinner  and back to the hotel on those days.

So what is Disney World like around Christmas ?

We are thinking of going the week before Christmas.

If you can go 12/15 to 12/22 it should be awesome.  I miss when the kids' school schedule aligned with that. Check all the school schedules to see if you can sneak in a low crowd week before the busiest 10-14 days of the year.

If your dates don't revolve around the school calendar Pop Warner at WDW is over on 12/09 making 12/10-12/17 a great choice.

  3. Pictures are starting to surface. I'm going to break it into a couple of posts in case it crashes. Looks like at least the Ropucha is fucked, probably Kilo too. There were reports on Russian Telegram channels that both the Ropucha and Kilo were damaged, but they've been deleted. Geolocated images show both the Ropucha and Kilo on fire.
    First, the Ropucha.

Bigger shot of the left image that shows the damage better.

  4. I'm the executor of my mom's estate and have to sell to able be to distribute the estate evenly with my siblings. 260 acres in the Harlingen area.  Thought the tenant farmer was going to buy it at appraised value but they're now telling me they couldn't produce enough to make the mortgage for appraised value. Frontage on 1846(Williams Rd) and extends to the Arroyo. My grandfather cleared the land in 1919.

Elon says he estimates his damages caused by ADL to be "half the value of Twitter", which he says amounts to upwards of $22B.

JFC, people used to look at this guy like some revolutionary genius. He massively overpaid for a social media site b/c he's an insecure man-baby, completely fucked it, and is now blaming  THE JEWS for it being a bad investment.

Narcissistic and on the spectrum, he's never going to understand average humans' reactions to his actions. It is always going to be someone else's fault to him.

I mean, they just blew up a major dam. They stole or destroyed every flotation device and then fired upon people trying to evacuate after news of the dam's destruction got around. They fired on evacuation centers.

Honestly, if you're showing compassion towards others and trying to help the less fortunate, you're a bane to their existence and must die.

This is a culture sick at its very core. It's not new. This is business as usual.

So, I've seen some idle speculation about the eventual possibility that Ukraine could cross the dried-up lake into Russian-occupied territory when the dam was destroyed but didn't give it too much thought since it'd likely be a muddy mess for a while.

What if my assumption is wrong though? Give it another week or so? How farfetched would that notion be?

It looks like the Russians have barely fortified their side of the lake. Too risky with the Zap NPP there? Would that be why they were so comfortable draining the lake?

Rumor has it that it so so poorly planned they drown the troops and equipment that the blowing the dam was supposed to free up to reenforce Zaporizhzhia.

  8. Lucia was just named a top 20 Italian restaurant in the nation by Tasting Table.

I keep a tab for their site up and check it regularly as it is local, we live in Kessler, and there is normally something within 10 days available. Now it is booked pretty much to the end of what’s open for reservations. Guessing eating there once a month is over without daily diligence.
