Not all inverted lead to a recession but all recessions are preceded by an inverted.

I was just saying that things looked pretty good in 2007, you could argue even better than today, yet we had a recession the following year.

How rich are they? Get back to me on that. You’re a humorless cunt so I’m assuming they’re losers like yourself

My family and most of their friends would be representative of the 1%.

Those my age and older do. Check out Beyond Shahs of Sunset on Facebook. I am sure the millennials vote no differently than their peers.

Interesting. That's not my reality.  As far as I know, most of my family and their friends, who came her in the 60's & 70's, do not support the GOP.  So you're saying that I should put my faith in a Facebook page as to what most Iranian-American believes.

I have never been made to feel unwelcome during my involvement as a member of the GOP. Those of us who buck the trend of what their ethnicity typically votes for are viewed very positively

A while back you claimed most Iranian-Americans support the GOP.  When I provided contradictory evidence, you said it was "fake news".  So do most Iranian-Americans support the GOP or not?

Let me see if I have this straight.  A Kentucky Senator was having a fundraiser in La Jolla?  Who are your REAL constituents Mitch?

I think we know who they are

Same here in CO.  I was amazed at how much Gardner has raised.  When I looked at fec.gov almost all of his large donations were coming from out-of-state.

    Media Bias Is Real, Finds
    a UCLA-Led Study

Of the 20 major media outlets studied,18 scored left of center

While the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal is conservative, the newspaper's news pages are liberal, even more liberal than The New York Times. The Drudge Report may have a right-wing reputation, but it leans left. Coverage by public television and radio is conservative compared to the rest of the mainstream media. Meanwhile, almost all major media outlets tilt to the left.

When was this article published?  Furiously checks notes....2005.  Thanks for providing such a useful, timely source to show media bias!

Cyrus the Great era. God said I will bless those that bless Israel and curse those who curse it. Absolutely no coincidence that Iran’s greatness was when Cyrus is mentioned glowingly in the Bible while now it is in a pathetic state held hostage by Islamic savages who seek to desire to destroy God’s chosen

Wow, you’re going way, way back. And you think Hosseini is going to be the liberator of Iran?  You really are a joke!

PAAIA  like the NIAC are paid agents of the Islamic Republic and have no legitimacy. Take a look at the most popular Iranian opposition leader. #RESTART IRAN. MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN.

So you're saying the poll is incorrect?  I've seen no data from you to support your statement that many Iranians share your beliefs.  I'd like to see any data that states Iranians support Trump. A poll from last October shows that 20% have a favorable view of Trump's Presidency, up from 13% in 2018.  76% disapprove, down from 78%.

Most Iranians that I know fall in line with poll and are not supportive of Trump.

Wrong as usual. From a source you’d trust. HuffPost

A report by the Iranian Studies Group at MIT reveals that per capita average income for Iranian-Americans is 50% higher than that of the rest of the nation. Iranian-Americans living in homes valued at over $1 Million exceeds the national average by ten times

What US metro area has the largest Iranian population, and how much does the average home cost in that area in comparison with the rest of the US?

It is widely believed that most Iranian-Americans in the United States are clustered in the large cities of California, namely Greater Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Sacramento, and Fresno. According to extrapolated U.S. Census data and other independent surveys done by Iranian-Americans themselves in 2009, there were an estimated one million Iranian-Americans living in the U.S.,[62] with the largest concentration—about 300,000 people—living in the greater Los Angeles area

Iranian-Americans don't seem to engage in American Politics; the fact that only 10 percent of them voted in the 2004 election, according to surveys in large American cities, is evidence of this. The group that published this information urged Iranian-Americans to come together and vote, in order to make a difference in how the United States foreign policy operates with regards to Iran.[116]

An August 2008 Zogby International poll, commissioned by the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans, found that approximately one-half of Iranian Americans identified themselves as registered Democrats, in contrast to one in eight as Republicans and one in four as independents (2008).[102]

That is pretty amazing. I had not read those articles.

But, someone is telling a fib? He said she said?

The article you posted initially, was from 2017. The 25 billion offer was in 2018. If you really had no idea that this offer was made given the press that it received, your posting privileges should be revoked.

Headline-Reuters photo captures Guatemalan mother begging soldier to let her enter U.S.

First sentence of story--Ledy Perez fell to her haunches, a clenched hand covering her face as she wept, an arm clutching her small 6-year-old son, who glared defiantly at the Mexican National Guard soldier blocking them from crossing into the United States.

Because we all know that anyone just skimming the headlines is automatically going to assume the soldier is part of the Mexican National Guard.

    https://widerimage.reuters.com/story/guatemalan-mother-begs-soldier-to-let-her-enter-us

You know Reuters is not an international news organization don’t you? It was written by a Mexican journalist based in Mexico, and was biased because the nationality of the soldier is not mentioned in the byline, although it is in the the first sentence of the article?
