  1. If you look real close you can see his old lady in the shower up in the second floor window.

    It is a cool house.

There is a house in our hood that has a huge opaque glass block window in what appears to be their shower. When it is dark outside and they have the light on in the bathroom, the shadows are a little revealing. Strangest damn thing I’ve ever seen since it faces the main road in and out of our neighborhood.
  2. I do have kids and put my “money” where my mouth is.
The school gave us the option of virtual or in person and we opted for in person as soon as possible.  So my 1st and 4th graders have been attending school, in person, wearing masks, daily since Sept 8.

I have a second grader and a four year old. The head of pulmonology at Children’s Hospital told us not to send our kids back due to the risk potential for our four year old if she caught it. Due to that, we are doing home school.

If you were in my position, would you still have sent both of yours back?
  3. Queen City ISD closed down all three campuses for three days due to an outbreak. They have also canceled all after school activities for the week.

Linden has canceled the next two football games due to two high school students testing positive. Apparently they’ve quarantined the entire football team. From the looks of their first three games, they should keep them quarantined.

  4. We have a three year age gap between ours. The oldest was super excited to have a baby sister until she was born. She asked if the baby was going to sleep at her mommy and daddy’s house. They are 7 & 4 now and play together extremely well most of the time. Especially considering they are together 24/7 now.

  5. Landon jackson is super gassed like he went to a strip bar last night and watched miss Davis dance on stage. Crazy. LSU raising an eyebrow.

He looked that way last week and I thought maybe it was just because it was the first game. Outside of the nice catch and run for the TD, he was basically invisible on defense from what I saw (halftime on). They were asking him to drop back in coverage, but he just didn’t seem the same. I guess I expect him to take over a game the way Steve Edmond did at Daingerfield and he does not do that.
  6. 48-7 with 30 seconds left in the half. PG is over 350 yards rushing. In Arkansas if one team is up by 35+ in the second half, the clock runs continuously.

The freshman running back is Jaylin Borley (sp?). Supposedly already being recruited by A&M and Baylor.

  7. 41-7 Pleasant Grove over Nashville, AR with about four minutes left in the second quarter. PG probably has 300+ yards rushing. One of the RB’s is a freshman that is going to be a star. He’s already over 100 yards. Also, they can’t block Landon Jackson.

  8. I'm guessing that if you can't tell if your oven is gas or electric then you probably shouldn't be messing with electricity.  However, if you do decide to, please video it for our amusement.

Live stream the shit so we can still see it in case you are left unable to upload the video.

  9. You a Cass county boy, or just passing through?  My grandmother (from Douglassville) told me there used to be a cafe in Linden back in the 50s and 60s where they all met.  Of course, everyone in Kildare and Linden are all related in multiple ways so they may have had meetings in numerous places.

Guilty. When I was a kid there was a place to drink coffee in the back of the pharmacy on the square. That’s where a lot of the old folks hung out. Either there or the senior citizens center on the next street over. There was a diner in Kildare called the Kildare Kozy Kitchen.
