  1. I'm disappointed, but the Red Sox earned it (regardless of what your opinion is of the fan interference call). We just didn't have the right mix of pitching/hitting this series.
  2. Is there a definitive angle showing the initial fan contact with Betts glove was behind the wall? Is there an angle showing the contact was in the field of play? Based on the replays I've seen there is uncertainty when it comes to where the initial contact was made. I can't call it a screwjob if there is uncertainty. I will call it bad juju from the baseball gods... who were on our side last year
  3. Don't start with this shit (even though he is terrible umpire). We lost because the Red Sox are making more clutch plays than we are (2 out RBIs specifically). Our bullpen was a disaster today and I don't even want to think about the amount of people we left on base. And say Altuve hits that HR? How does anyone know how either team responds after that? Boston could have felt like they were robbed and used it as motivation and out up 12. It may not have lit a fire under our ass the first few innings and we end up scoring 2 runs instead of 4 through the first 4. We had our chances to take control and win and we just didn't do it.
  4. I did go back and watch the replays on DVR and I do think the fans reached over on to the field of play slightly. But, there is no down the line angle to really tell. I'm not happy, but I don't think it was some screw job either. I can see both sides on this one (unlike the one in Boston)
  5. That is going to be call interference
  6. Has Machado always been this big of a bitch? If only he had broke his own foot doing that
  7. That was Maldonado
  8. Springer likes playoff baseball
  9. Damn... McHugh with the filth and showing some emotion
  10. The Indians have walked a guy that is batting ~.140 twice
  11. Seriously... This ump is confusing me. I can't tell if he is going to call something a ball or a strike
  12. Head high fastball
  13. I think I would rather get waterboarded than have to listen to Eckersley. I have my volume turned all the way down.
  14. Going for the Golden Sombrero
  15. George is now seeing it well from Clevinger
  16. Two terrible at bats by George and Yuli killed that inning
  17. Springer not seeing the ball well off Clevinger today
  18. Damn... 2 feet away. Clevinger definitely thought it was gone
  19. I'm somewhat aroused after reading this
  20. The decision between Straw and Stassi shouldn't be a difficult one. Straw should be a no-brainer. Just look back at Fisher pinch running in game 5 of last year's WS. If that was anyone else on the base paths (other than Marisnick and possibly Altuve) that game may still be going on.
