On ceramic, no lighter fluid, no briquettes, don't get it super hot for the first couple of cooks, and don't have your face nearby when you open the dome.

You'll get used to it very fast.

    HONEST QUESTION:

    -Wood only?
    -Lump Charcoal?
    -Either?

I'm still eyeing that $600 monster "Pit Boss" kamado at my local Costco. ($750 w/ Shipping & Handling online)

    https://www.costco.com/Pit-Boss-Ceramic-BBQ-Grill.product.100378747.html

    Features:

    • Heavy Duty Ceramic
    • 662 sq. in. Total Cooking Area
    • Cover Included
    • Glossy blue finish
    • Heavy-duty ceramic
    • Two-tier stainless steel cooking grids
    • Shock-absorbing lid for added protection against slamming
    • Four heavy-duty swivel casters (two locking)
    • Heavy-duty hinge
    • Easy-to-read thermometer
    • Adjustable top and bottom dampers
    • Two fold-down plastic side shelves

It probably will be about $650 including tax. Don't know if it is going to happen, but I want the damned thing.

    2017 opening LA

    Adimora, Chris

    HIGH SCHOOL-STATE: Mayfair - CA
    HT: 5-11
    WT: 181
    40Y: 4.71
    SH: 4.45
    PB: 33.5

    For comparison

    2018 opening LA

    6'1.5"

    4.71

    4.3

    37.0

    31.7

    93.21

So he matched or improved in every category except for VERTICAL.

There, he lost 0.3 inches, but made up for it by growing 2 1/2 inches and his arms probably grew a tad bit too.

    I approve.

We have to be doing roids. Everyone is just so much bigger and more cut than in the past. It is pretty impressive.

"Supplements" that are being taken at the appropriate times and in the appropriate quantities that go with "doing work" in the weight room.

It's behind their stupid VIP thing, but I think Liebrock just got a Texas CB.

He did indeed, from a USC mod.

I'll take it, but I'll be really excited when an ASU mod puts in a Texas CB.

He lives less than 15 miles from that campus and he's really high on them. (My god they're going to be a shit show the next few years, but he probably grew up dreaming of being a Sun Devil. Hopefully he let's the shit show play out and makes the smart decision.)

  5. Bought the equivalent of this about a year or more ago.

Then wrapped the various wine bottles in clothes and used rubber bands around the clothes to keep them attached. Brought about 7 bottles back from Argentina late last June/early July. Then flew the bottles again from Dallas to LA the same way.

I'd rather spend the money on the wine than waste it on luggage... but I don't have extra money to blow, like some on this board.

Cristiano was removed at halftime due to an injury scare.

Earlier I looked for a La Liga or El Clasico thread, but to no avail.

    Observations:

    -Lots of Yellow cards

-Legitimately should have been Barca 1 - 3 Real if the ref had eyes.

-Bale doesn't know what he is supposed to do anymore when playing with Ronaldo on the pitch.wasnt until Ronaldo was subbed off at halftime that Bale started to appear to be a player worth watching.

-S. Buckets is probably the only player on the planet who could get a ball kicked lightly off of his head from a boot 2-3 feet away that makes him fall over air to the ground and then get up holding his head to show why the ref should (and rightfully did) blow the whistle for a high kick, but also limp a little while holding his head, because the limp really drives home the danger of a high kick.

-I loved that Madrid continued to play on when Suarez was on the ground, crying in "pain", after he had gone out of his way to ram into the side of a Madrid player (Sergio Ramos?). Paulinho got super bent out of shape, but if I'm an opposing player, I am never taking my foot off the pedal when Buckets or Suarez go down. Ever. (Club or country, real match or friendly)

I would have thought a Berkeley man would have been above such shenanigans, but evidently not.

If a Rice guy isn't above this, then a Berkeley guy isn't definitely going to be above this.

I actually kind of like this one with Schatner's kitsch.

This was my fucking jam in Buenos Aires.

It started when I did an improvisational performance to this in an expat bar and blew the mind of a few friends (looking back... they were probably coked to the gills) and then it became the song I listed to for about an hour at the gym.
The dj/co-owner of the bar liked to play it once a weekend night so that I would go off and people visiting would then have a story to tell back at their hostel or via social media about the crazy shit that would go down at that bar. (Those bar owners knew/know what they're doing... they now have 3 bars in Barcelona.)

That's how they're taught down under. If you ever have a chance to watch an ARFL game, watch how they kick the ball. All just like Dicko.

It's a tiny little country, with fewer people than the state of Texas, but they sure do produce a hell of a lot of good punters.

Boat shoes...put him in the calculator.

The most glaring thing about that photo.

I almost posted after seeing that, but was about 3 pages behind and didn't know if it had been mentioned several times.

NO ONE who wears those shoes can honestly feel comfortable in College Station. Sometimes obvious is obvious. Opposites don't always attract.
