I attended this game last year to watch Army beat Louisiana Tech. Shreveport is awful and not in a charming way and it was interesting to have a view of a refinery from the stadium.

Bossier City sucks badly as well, but they are lucky to have Shreveport as a sister city to take away the focus on themselves.

OSU, Georgia, Vandy, and us. And don't forget OU on a neutral field...they probably win if Mateer is hurt, but that defense at OU was legit.

They were certainly above average, but if you take out Kent State, Illinois State, and Temple (those teams averaged 130 yards/game) its middle of the road. Teams like Alabama, Tennessee, ole miss, and Texas to an extent did what they wanted to.

Sure they should, but they aren't playing D2 teams. They're playing D1 teams. FCS and FBS are both D1 teams and it's stupid to suggest otherwise, jokingly or not.

I have an aggy acquaintance that looks forward to going the FCS games in BCS and brags about the win on SM while whooping it up. So yes, there is a market for these games for them.

  4. Also as soon as shes employed or gets another job they lose any and all credibility with that argument. It's stupid. She didn't get fired. She is still employed, but she shouldn't be.

Who is going to hire her in the next 10 years for some job more than 35k a year? She’s done with big time athletics, maybe some Michigan dentist will hire her as a receptionist so he can laugh about her working for him/her.

I asked Chat to summarize it in 30 words.  No idea of the accuracy since I too TL;DR:

Playoff blowouts aren’t the problem; college football is. Money, NIL, and realignment concentrate talent in the Big Ten and SEC, making inequality inevitable and pushing toward an eventual super league.

  6. Remember when Gary, Indiana was having a contest for a new slogan for the city?

"Gary: Come for the heroin. Stay because you got shot trying to stiff your dealer for the heroin."

"Gary: Come for the meth. Stay because you sold your car to buy the meth."

    Etc ...

Catchy, and they stay with you.

Am I not picking up on your sarcasm or did they really publish every public submission?
