Several friends' wives in Tanglewood were freaking out over helicopter / manhunt last night.  Was at one of my law partner's house in that neighborhood for dinner and that shit was popping off for about an hour.  Cops and K9 were all over it, looking for a black male in a black hoodie.  Not sure if they caught who they were looking for.  But some excitement for a normally boring part of town.

It happens more than it should.  I know of two incidents in Tanglewood over the last few years where friends or parents of friends were attacked on their property upon returning home.  I live between Briargrove and Tanglewood on Potomac and last year a guy opened my gate and was hanging out in my “yard” around my patio home.  My yard is about 4 feet of rocks/artificial turf around two sides of my patio home.  Absolutely no reason for anyone to be there.  Freaked my wife out pretty good.  After she called the cops the guy finally left.

Glad to hear that.  I was there last Feb (about a year ago).  Loved that run.  What a terrific , long , diverse run.....if im remembering correctly of course.  Is that the one where you ski down to it through to the right off the lift a bit, then hike up a decent incline?  The run ends on the far left (If your looking at a map) of the resort.

That’s it.  It’s off the Elk Camp lift.  The hike uphill isn’t easy especially with a foot or so of fresh snow and of course you are carrying your skis.  I was exhausted for the rest of the day but it was worth it.

  3. Maybe I missed it but I saw nothing about the fairly new version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.  Mine is about 2.5 years old and just over 30k miles.  I think it was around $45k loaded and new.  I drove a BMW 5 series for about 22 years (E39 and the F10 models) and the Jeep handles about like the boat-like F10.  The Jeep, so far, has been fantastic and I’m very pleased with it.

  4. I saw this yesterday evening after our Christmas Day celebration and highly recommend it.  I was a toddler during the events depicted in the film, but I was a Dylan fan in high school in the 70's.  It captures Dylan's evolution from a folk artist to folk-rock in the 60's.

Not sure if I believe this.... It seems like a way to obscure who sold them to Hezbollah

Perhaps.  I’m reading Rise and Kill First.  Israeli intelligence plays a long game.  The 60 minutes episode was pretty good.
