'From the river to the sea' is a protest against the Israeli government?
Funny, no reports of that one from the UT protests, so I guess we're just asking questions again? Let me guess, you're one of these people who think "Free Palestine" means "Go Hamas" because how dare anyone consider nuance.
Edit: And although not relevant to this discussion, I agree, that phrase is not helpful because too many bad actors in the Levant have used it in support of very bad things. Israel uses it too as justification for cleansing Gaza btw.

O'rly? I'm sure it was college liberals that have been shooting up synagogues and doing nazi salutes in Charlottesville. How does Abbott's ass taste?

3 hours ago, YGIFS said:Anti-semitism is absolutely on a disturbing increase in trajectory. That can be true while also holding true is that while I disagree with their stance, the Wednesday protestors were being quite peaceful and respectful. I was in the middle of it all under the tower yesterday and it was Jewish and Palestinian students standing side by side in relative peace, just chanting and displaying signs. UTPD was being seen but not cumbersome.
the force posture of DPS and unlawful arrest and physical intimidation of many students is the standing issue that we will take months, or longer; to unpack. It was a bullshit “free speech on campus” ploy by Abbott. What role Jay had in it, I’m not gonna ask but I’ll.l find out. But that the Chandellor and half the Regents were caught so completely off guard and upset by this leads me to believe this is not going to end well for some people. And to berate the point, Gaza aside, those DPS riot thugs were staged ahead of time. And nobody seems to know when or where.
Anti-Semitism has been on that trajectory since, oh, let's say around 2016, and it isn't coming from young liberals on college campuses. That form of anti-Semitism has also been very clearly about the Jewish people ("i.e., "the Jews will not replace us..."). The current protests are against the Israeli government (i.e. "Free Palestine"). The difference is incredibly easy to identify, but somehow the nazi types get free speech wherever they go, and the young liberals get shut down by the fucking gestapo. Ultimately, I just can't take anyone seriously anymore if they refer to the current events as "anti-Semitism."

Cowboys fans still wish Dallas had their 4th Rd pick that they foolishly traded away to overpay for Trey Lance. geez 🙄
I mean, yeah, we all thought a 4th round pick was too high, but Wilson and Fields have already proven they suck shit, Lance's potential isn't great, but its better than the other two combined. I'm not standing up for Jerry by any means, but the analysis is missing some key elements, in my opinion.

That went away years ago.
I think the only path to a 13th regular season game now is playing at Hawaii. (Although, that may be gone as well)
Either way, with a 9 game conference schedule, and three non cons to work with, there should be no problem with either team getting at least 6 home games in any given year.

While Trump is on trial in New York, oral argument on his immunity claim is being heard at SCOTUS.
And the conservative justices are ensuring more delay tactics so that nothing is decided before November.
9 minutes ago, Chuckie Finster said:Seen some hand-wringing that the Justices appear to be leaning in favor of some of the immunity claims. Can anyone smarter than me confirm?
(Obvious caveat that what is said during oral arguments doesn't necessarily hold up when it comes to voting)
Further proceedings are required either way, unless he's granted full immunity for everything, which even his attorney agrees doesn't exist. It sounds to me like everyone in the room agrees that official acts (talking with AG's, Congress, etc., on processes and procedures) are immune, but private acts (asking that those officials overturn the election results or "find more votes") are private acts of a candidate that happens to hold the office at the time. If anything, this appeal sounds like it was the delay tactic, because Trumps attorney sounds like he's admitting that absolute immunity doesn't exist, so I'm not clear what the court is being asked to decide. The fact determination of what acts were official and which were private was always going to be the job of the trial court. I don't have time to look back and remind myself what the DC Circuit held, but none of those clips gives me any pause, if anything, it's confirming that his "absolute immunity" rants on truth isn't something his lawyers are even claiming exists.

It's great for their fans but this is a gimmick that seems like it will have diminishing returns every time someone not Notre Dame tries it. That's now a prime KSU home game that's gone. But whatever, gives us something to watch in week 0, I guess.
Don’t teams that play on Week 0 have the option to add a 13th game to their schedule? Usually an FCS cupcake to make up for the loss of a home game.

That too, these are the same people who think the tiki torch losers chanting “The Jews Will Not Replace Us” are patriots, but “maybe don’t exterminate Palestine” is anti-Semitic and American Jews should be sooo scared of these young libruls on college campuses.

Seriously, these claims of antisemitism and that American Jews are threatened is just complete 100% bullshit. Even the more extreme signs like “End Israel” at, least from the vast majority of Americans, is talking about the country that has gone rogue, not the people. I just can’t anymore with this country. There’s no shared reality among us, only lies and intellectual dishonesty.

Stop with this Romo mystique. He was a playoff loser. He had plenty of chances and failed.
Eli Manning doesn't even sniff 2 Super Bowls if Romo took care of business in 2007 and 2011.
Romo played with Murray, TO, Dez and Witten. This notion that he didn't have any talent is false. It was there but his teams played small when it mattered most. Exactly like what we have now except for some reason, he gets a ton of excuses made. The problem is and always has been that only washed up losers and yes men will ever coach for Jerry. Fans here still calling Dak a loser after Dan Fucking Quinn let someone named Jordan Love complete pass after pass after pass to receivers without a defender within five yards. Down 21-0 within the first few minutes. If I were a successful college QB I’d tell Jerry to eat shit and pray he leaves me the fuck alone.
