This is a really really bad idea.  This is Wemby’s team and I fell that Durant will stunt that growth.

A perennially unhappy 37-year-old (who hasn’t won a playoff game since I was apparently eight or nine years old myself) is exactly what this team needs!

Let’s ship a valuable asset or two to rent him for a year, stunt Wemby’s growth, and end up exactly where we’d be without him… losing in the first round.

  2. What am I missing re: Durant?  Wasn’t Phoenix better before he got there?

His teams were swept in the first round in 2022, swept in the first round in 2023, swept in the first round in 2024, and missed the playoffs entirely in 2025.  Yet he’s supposed to come here and teach our young guys how to win?

I’m not in love with Vassell’s or Sochan’s games, but they seem to be held in fairly high regard in NBA circles.  I’m fine with trading them, but bring back a dude who’ll contribute to a real playoff run.

Holy Crap!! I forgot that “One Way Out” and Luthen’s speech were in the same episode. This is just greatness!

I’m in the minority that liked S1 a bit more than S2.

Clearly S2 was still excellent, but I really appreciated the slow build of S1.  I also loved Maarva, Mosk, and Kino, for example, more than the Maya Pei idiots and even Krennec.

And then the speeches that you mention… I don’t remember any from S2 that even approached S1’s.  Luthen’s, Kino’s, Maarva’s, Nemik’s manifesto, all were pretty significantly better than Mon’s Senate speech, and I don’t think anything else in S2 even ranks.

Again, S2 was outstanding in its own right and I’ll rewatch it a ton as well.  I think my argument is that S1 was severely underrated, not that S2 was overrated.

It’s FM audio so that part just is what it is. But it’s nice to sit out in the lawn chair with some popcorn. Plus they do some good double features.
On weekend nights they do police the lot pretty well. Occasionally there is some idiot that doesn’t turn their car off and some high school kid on a golf cart goes and yells at them.

Went last year to a double-feature of The Thing and The Shining.  Hard to beat.

I honestly thought he was doing the "first down" move, which happens all the time.

I thought that too, especially on the replay.

    Apologies for linking McAfee…

Give it a month and then they will begin the annual process of convincing themselves that next year is the year that the sleeping giant awakens.

Texags posters were talking about how they were a few plays away from winning against us less than a week out from the game. What makes you think that “next year is our year” will take a month?

So it actually took about 30 hours?

Is a different jersey patch for each round really necessary? I hope these are auctioned off as a fundraiser postgame.

A single "CFB Playoffs" patch will suffice, IMO.

Won’t you think of the poor sponsors for the different rounds/bowls who need their own patches?

Guess who's upset at aggy's schedule?  This guy:

Ranking SEC schedule difficulty: 8 - Texas A&M

Despite the three straight road games, the Aggies still are just barely in the top half of the conference when it comes to schedule difficulty. Now, some of that has to do with the absolute horror shows that several of these teams ahead of the Aggies have to deal with, but it's still not a terrible slate for the Ags.

That back-to-back against Arkansas and LSU on the road seems to be setting the Aggies up for yet another loss in Death Valley, where they haven't won since joining the conference. But if they manage to eke out a win against Notre Dame in South Bend, they can easily start 6-0.

The back half, playing four out of six on the road, is where things are tougher. But especially if the Aggies can upgrade at wide receiver, they should be in contention for double-digit wins in 2025 with this slate

So just to be clear, “Aggie fans should be absolutely steamed with the way the SEC built this schedule for A&M,” even though it’s only the 8th toughest schedule in the conference?
