  1. Biden has signaled an intent to serve one term, correct? That suggests an emphasis on reform and restoration. After 4 years of devastating Trump wreckage, we're fortunate to even have the chance to start. Investigations need to go full steam, people need to be held accountable and punished, then bury the heads in a separate location to prevent re-animation. Overturn Citizens United and begin to create a system for sane campaign finance. Redouble efforts to cut off foreign meddling in our elections via both foreign cash and foreign incursions targeting elections with cyber attacks. Find ways to begin to reverse gerrymandering, and multiple forms of voter suppression and disenfranchisement. I'd like to see serious emphasis taking on organized and systemic social media disinformation that is an accelerant for corroding our national health and discourse. I'd like to see a serious consideration of restoring basic tenets of the fairness doctrine for broadcasters. In short, stop the ongoing harm, start to repair and heal, and level the electoral playing field to better ensure the most qualified candidates with the best character are elected regardless of political stripe.
  2. Yep. 8.5/1.5 over next 1k+ does it. That's the final ratio in Clayton Co. w 100% precincts reporting as of this evening:
  3. Clayton Co. website showing 100% results. Would mean these numbers not yet fully reflected by GA SOS. Clayton Co, GA
  4. Good takes. Stacy Abrams is pure gold. A 2 GA Senate seat run-off in Jan for control of the US Senate could create a whole new level of energy there. The national spotlight and 3 months to prepare just might create conditions for less vote suppression/re-enfranchisement of purged voters in GA to swing it.
  5. Re Nate Silver pictogram, he follows up: "I'm not sure it's really sunk in yet, even among reporters, that we're probably going to get 2 runoffs in Georgia on Jan. 5 that will determine control of the Senate." Last two pics are run-off. First two are something like bee-sea (busy).
  6. Congressional R's are paralyzed. Trump didn't get away with as much as he has these years without getting them to take a bite of the apple. Trump peddles blackmail. It fuels his engine. Keep an eye on how they navigate this to avoid Trump's externalizing and spiteful blame. Right now, they have to be the ones most hoping for a sudden infarct.
  7. another sign that Trump fam isn't going to let GOP push off in the life boats as they sink.
  8. something to watch is how much the story of the frog and the scorpion plays out. For all the secrets kept and pardons promised that have been expected all along, a Trump loss just may result in no one getting out alive. Pathologic narcissism cuts both ways.
  9. On one hand they can't support the mad king who has lost but is going off the rails without conceding. On the other hand, there is a strong likelihood that a Biden presidency and DOJ will result in disclosures of just how much they did enable the corrupt mad king all along. kind of a paralyzing place to be.
  10. The single most important thing Democrats can do immediately and in the short term is figure out voter suppression fixes and work-arounds. Georgia likely removed nearly 200k from voter rolls wrongfully, report says
  11. In reality, the eventual end result was known Tuesday night. TrumpCo knew Tuesday night. Biden knew. The networks are bleeding it out for their own purposes.
  12. This cycle was not really favorable to switch control of the Senate. The map for 2022 is a better opportunity.
  13. Bank loan debt repayment vs govt asset forfeiture. Can't be tired when you gotta be quick.
