Damn. He’s selling his clothes. Like, just normal pants, dress shoes, shirts, etc., along with jerseys.
Well, I don't think he has a job, so no need for any nice clothes to wear to work.

What the hell is Friday Jeans fund? Corporate wreath fund?
Stupid office shit like that makes me surly.
We used to be "Business casual" with jeans allowed on friday if you donate a buck. That went away a few years ago and now it's jeans errrry day.

As a non-coffee drinker, I can't believe the amount of whining and crying from bitch-ass coffee drinkers at every job I've ever had. "Were's the coffee? Are we out? Where will I put my creamer? Why hasn't the coffee guy came yet? The machine is broken, the office needs to pay for a new one ASAP!!". Once, our director asked if we should use the "Friday Jeans" fund to pay for a new Keurig, since the old one broke. I said what do the non-coffee people get? Nothing was the answer, so I voted no out of spite.

I bought a new fridge, it was delivered today. It didn't come with a manual. I understand, it's the 21st century, I can go online to get it. But then I found out I can't adjust the temp on the machine, I have to download an app to do that. WTF???
My wife already had the app due to her having a Samsung phone but still, that's fucking stupid.
Update: I found the manual, it was in a drawer that I didn't even know was there. Also, figured out how to make adjustments without the app but it still sucks. Not intuative at all.

You bought a Samsung fridge? Prepare thy anus.
I don't completely disagree but I'm replacing a 11 year old Samsung that's been fine for us. Only replacing it because my daughter needs one and it's an excuse to upgrade and give her the old one.

Never thought I'd be a boot wearer but here I am.
My friend's dad was a western wear/boot guy, born and raised in SW Oklahoma. He had a pair of boots he wore for years until they had just worn out. My buddy went to a Lucchese outlet and got him a pair that was as close to the same style as he could find. His dad appreciated them and wore them once but said they just weren't the same. So my buddy took the old boots to some boot wizard, said the guy looked like he just fell out of a covered wagon and had all these ancient looking leather-working tools. The boot wizard took a couple months but got the old boots back to almost new. His dad nearly wept when he saw them. The new Lucchese's went into the closet until his dad passed away a few months ago. My buddy can't wear the new boots, but I can, so he just gave them to me. The model is the Bart, super pointed toe but IDGAF, they feel nice.

My previous dog, Captain Velcro at his own shit. The circle of life in back yard, during his time on earth., was very small. I miss the little fucker.
My current dogs do this right now. You want to take them in and relive those memories?

The parents have a grandfather clock and a cuckoo clock that compete with each other for your attention every hour.
We have a clock in the living room that doesn't chime but it makes a sound, seemingly every 5 seconds or so, that sounds like a dripping faucet. The first time I heard it I thought we might have a plumbing problem but no, it's just this fucking clock.

I'm not normally one to stress out but when there are things that are beyond my control and I just have to take a bite from a big ol' shit sandwich, I get stressed. The last 2 weeks, my daughter's car has been acting up. Long story short, I'm in for $3000 already and after we picked it up yesterday, it's still fucked up. Dealership is doing and saying all the right things (you won't have to pay any more money; here's a free loaner car) but I'm frustrated and worried about her getting to work. She seems to be taking it ok but who knows.
I've never really taken a "mental health day" but I feel a strong urge to do that tomorrow. Honestly, I really want to go to Top Golf and just mash the fuck out of my driver for an hour or two. Just burn off some negative energy, maybe.

It's like the trashy couple that thinks " everyone is always trying to break us up"
It reminds me of the idiotic women on facebook who are always calling out their "haters" who post stuff about them. Never names any haters but trust her, they exist!

Both of his parents made it into their 90s, I'd be cool with those kind of odds. My mom died at 58 and here I am at 50, freaking out.

tragic to describe anything bad happening. 'he died tragically' did he kill himself because he realized he killed his father and sexed his mother? no, it was just a run of the mill car wreck. that's not tragic.
I feel the same way when someone says "brutal murder" or "brutal rape". Unless you were drugged or drunk, that rape will haunt you forever. Seems brutal by default IMO. Same with murder, you never hear a newcaster say "A man was gently murdered in NYC tonight".

I dropped off a package at the UPS store. As I was walking towards the door, I see a small woman approaching, carrying a large box. She has a child following behind her, also carrying a box. They were a good 30 feet away as I exited the store, so I waited and held the door open so both could enter. Not only does she refuse to acknowledge what I did, she had a look of distain on her face, like "Ugh, this asshole!". Now, I'm not asking for her to get teared up and act like I just saved her from a rapist, but you can't even mutter a simple "Thanks" ? What a bitch.

Luckily, I'm ambidextrous and can play pocket pool with my left hand. But my point stands.

I bought a pair of sweatpants/joggers on the Nike app and when they arrived, I found they only have one front pocket. I double checked the pics in the app and it's not a manufacturing error. Who the fuck thinks that pants have "too much" storage, that you need to remove one of the front pockets??? There is a zippered pocket that runs down the side of the leg that you can use for your wallet or phone but it won't work if you want to put your hand in your pocket. Or don't want to have to unzip your pocket just to get your phone out. What a fucking stupid design decision.

Meh, he's pushing 80 and probably just wants the money to pass to his kids. Like Paul Hornung said when he sold his Heisman "I can't cut up the trophies 6 ways."
