just leave the god damn dogs at home and let me shop for groceries in relative peace and not thinking I could step in dog shit at any moment…

Well I don't take dogs to HEB so don't be mad at me. As far as your relative peace when you grocery shop, or any other part of your life, I really couldn't give less of a shit about that.

you've never seen it, so obviously it never happens.  Guess you also just ignore/set aside the basis of this thread in the first place, is EMPLOYEES of the institution in questions saying they don't want dogs in the store.

Animals being in active areas of food service is absolutely fucking stupid.

Ok, bro. You seem unsettled. Are you ok?

I’ll take dogshit on the sidewalk outside, rather than next to my honeycrisp apples in HEB, but you do you.

In all of my years, I have witnessed exactly ZERO dogshits in HEB, but I have witnessed tens of thousands of dogshits on sidewalks, yards, creeks, beaches, etc.

Maybe you are just shopping at the wrong HEB if you constantly have to dodge dogshits by the apples.

Or, you just completely made that up. Who knows?

Don’t care = acceptance of aberrant behavior.  Dismal tide and all that

Id bet you give zero fucks about littering either and don’t put your cart back at HEB.

Oh, we're doing this for pollution issues?

Then we need to ban dogs from all parks, beaches, creeks, etc because the majority of dog owners don't pick up their dog's shit. So we can't be having that king of pollution, so we need to ban all dogs in all public places.

The only benefit I can see is my pool may hit 70deg under those conditions on Friday afternoon.  I can swim in that when it's 90deg outside

fuck that noise. I dont get in my pool anytime its under 80 unless I'm trying out a new wetsuit

I agree, ain't no way I am jumping in 70 degree water.

But at 90 degrees outside, my heat pump can have my 11k gallon pool to 80 degrees in a day.

  6. I run my sprinkler all year round, but in the winter I only run it in the zones with trees, and manually turn it off on weeks with rain. I have ten bald cypress in my front yard that I do not want to die.

We are also limited to only one day a week watering schedule and it is enforced by auto notifications at the water company if you water outside of your one allowed day.

Some of you need to discover thermal underwear.

    Exactly!

I bought a set of thermal underwear to go skiing a few years ago.

This past weekend, buddies and I had a golf trip up near Gun Barrell City. Sunday morning we teed off at 10:04 with a temperature of 35 and "Feels Like" 27 and an 11 mph wind. Wore the thermals, khaki slacks and a long sleeve shirt and parka and wool socks and never got uncomfortable for the entire round.

    I'm awful.

A part of me wants to take this, turn it into a GIF from right before he gets hit by the drone, have it show him flying about 20 feet through the air, and then freeze it and pop up these words "Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got here."

Or maybe something like a Waylon Jennings outro from the Dukes of Hazzard.

Sometimes those Duke Boys can be a real pain in your backside

  9. Anyone have one?

What launch monitor do you recommend?

    Size?

    Things you’d do different?

I moved to a new (to me) house last year and it has a smaller garage area for a golf cart that has plenty of height, width, depth for a nice sim. Previous owner used the area as a gym and did some insulating and a rubber floor and an oversized window unit AC. There are just so many options and components it is difficult to figure out where to start.

Would like to keep it under $20k
