Y’all like to drag on her but honestly she is okay.

I’ve been involved at city hall and she is well respected. She just called out a CM’s husband on her Twitter. It’s comical thinking about her past, but holy shit. She overcame it and has a legacy now.

you all will still say “she” is “‘me” but we are living in a really weird timeline. Anything is possible.

Now that your not on council anymore, will you go back to showing your vagina to the customers at the water tank?

In the early 90s, I managed a Worker's Comp program for a UT system medical school. UT-System is self insured. Residents were getting pin pricks. They were filing for AZT drugs. My leadership in Austin were denying the claims and requests. I was hearing from Residents crying about being denied the drugs. I felt like absolute dogshit. For my mental and moral health, I turned down a promotion w/in the group and left for an outside job.

I can assuredly say I will never get shot for selling out my soul to make a few bucks.

So you'll forgive me if I have no sympathy for the former CEO. Consequences sometimes happen, deserving has nothing to do with it.

Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken.  You really are fine with murder?

I am really, really not trying to CR this, but I am thinking of examples to fit this. Sometimes, if it suits your thoughts and beliefs, "murder" is not what you would call it.

A few months ago, there would have been a LOT of people in this country to have been OK with "murder" if a certain bullet had veered a few inches aside.

People without integrity can't comprehend that other people might conduct themselves in a manor other than the pursuit of naked self interest.  Start by thinking about that and you might figure out why I called your post bleak and stupid.

As I mentioned, I was simply stating facts and not in any way what I would choose to do or my opinion on the matter, but you can conduct yourself in whatever "manor" you believe.

    1. Bleak and stupid take
    2. Well I think we know how cheaply you can be bought.  Damned son, $10m that's really all you're worth?

    Excellent retort.

UHC will have someone in his position in the next month and they will sift through hundreds of candidates. And they also fill all of their available openings throughout the rest of their company. So explain to me how my "stupid take" is incorrect.

I never said I'd take the fucking job and I never said it was good thing. I was simply stating facts.

And yet physicians will continue to sell their practices to make bankers rich and become their employees.

Because nearly everyone just wants to get paid.

Someone will take the job of the guy that is dead, because it pays $10M a year. And people will still go work for UHC because it pays a salary that they can use to feed their family and pay their bills.

There are VERY few altruistic people that are not going to take a good salaried job in their field because it is not popular.

If UHC offered you his $10M/year salary tomorrow, are you turning it down?

To be fair, no one gives a fuck if some stranger is murdered. Occasionally you get some outrage for a famous person or the manner, but most people don’t really care because it doesn’t affect them.

Like OJ once told us: "People die every day"

He wrote those words on the shell cases that were going to be extracted and ejected even if his gun cycled perfectly. If you watch the video, he clearly wasn’t expecting this level of malfunction. He’d probably never fired this pistol suppressed.

I saw something yesterday that said the gun did not malfunction, it is actually designed to be manually cycled after each shot. And that it was a rare enough gun that they could track where it was purchased fairly easy and they were already looking at a shop in Connecticut.
