I am just fucking mystified as to why some of you continue to fuck up thread after thread by engaging with the most clueless poster on the entire board instead of putting him on ignore. Just waves and waves of ignorance crashing on the shore...
I'm honestly not sure who you're talking about.

Is there a flightaware equivalent to track all the bombs in flight with their org, dest, and ETA? I'm getting confused whether Urban is our coach or not.

I suppose if someone is a legit 5 handicap or under it might be worth it but a 600.00 putter is crazy for anyone that is a 5+ handicap. good for scotty cameron I guess.
I did get a new driver head Callaway Smoke AI a couple of years ago because my other driver was 10 years old. It did give me about 10 to 20(tops) yards more off tee. being able to hit a lower iron off the fairway is way more valuable for a mid handicap IMO.
$649 for a new driver vs $600 for a new putter - which will improve your game more? W/o a doubt in my mind, the answer is the putter. Those LAB putters in particular, do a LOT more for higher handicap shitty putters by stabilizing the face and stroke and removing the massive variability high handicappers have - again, assuming the putter matches the stroke. A new driver isn't going to do that - you're way better off spending $600 on a lesson.
IMO, putters have less of an impact the better you get - low handicap players have a low variability stroke already, generally speaking, so it ends up being more about the weight, feel, etc...
And for the record, I don't own an LAB putter - circa 2010 Scotty here that I love. However, I have seen the difference those LABs make with many 8-15 index players.

Generally, the Ukraine/Russia discussion has been pretty politically free and commentary has been more subject oriented. Every once in awhile the cloak room people and associated commentary crop up but overall it has been good since the thread was started in 2022.
The politics are there, we are all just on the same side of the politics so no one minds it.

I think everyone should spend $600 on a putter to keep their hopes of breaking 100 alive.
Drivers go for north of $600 to start now (Titleist GTs are $649 to start). Spending $600 on a putter that you will use more, last longer, and shave more strokes off your game (assuming it's fit for your putting stroke) isn't that out of whack these days.

It's war. It's always going to be political. Wake the fuck up.

Bibi has been saying this, more or less, for the past decade and a half and yet, Iran has never completed the puzzle. Yes, we need Iran back at the table to talk about denuclearization but using the argument that "they're almost there, we think, but it's ambiguous" to bomb Tehran is disingenuous at best.

You cannot talk about a conflict involving Israel, Iran, and the US and not talk about the leaders of each. That means opinions too. If you want just facts, I don't think that exists anymore, certainly not on a damn message board.

Ok. I've been to Japan 3x. Once as a kid. Once for 3 nights in Tokyo and last summer for 9 days. Is there nothing to see outside of Seoul? Thats why I was focused more on S. Korea.
I spent a month in Korea and only a day in Seoul. I'm sure Seoul has more I missed (like the DMZ) but the rest of Korea I'm not itching to go back to. Japan, on the other hand, I've been planning a return trip there since the moment I left.

Now that I am single again and just got a massive pay increase. I am thinking of going ot S. Korea and then stopping in Osaka for 3 nights with one day going up to Kyoto. Or maybe just do 3 days eating and drinking in Osaka.
Spend more time in Japan vs Korea. I'd just spend the entire time in Japan, to be honest. I think it's a far better vacation.
But if you're single and ready to mingle, Korean women do love Americans.

What is the actual definition of “par”? And how is it actually calculated?
I ask, because if the best players in the world cannot achieve “par” scores, then perhaps “par” is not being calculated correctly.
Par is a construct to help the golf viewer keep better track of who is winning. That's all.
How many strokes does it take you to complete 72 holes? That's all that matters.

That was a perfect example of why they need to penalize positions rather than time. Such bullshit. Glad he did get a penalty tho.

His cunty ass reply to George calling for a stiffer penalty: "I'll bring a tissue next time". Fuck off, prick. This isn't demolition derby.
He didn't even make an attempt to defend himself, which is pretty telling of his intent. I respect his race craft but I also wonder if others drove with the same reckless abandon he does, how would F1 look? I feel like a lot of his ability comes down to his willingness to push the envelope and not give a fuck about consequences.

I don't recall a single military parade w/ tanks and shit in my lifetime. And the 200th anniversary would've been in 1975, so not sure how you "incorporate" that into the bicentennial celebration.
I do. In China, Russia, and North fuckin' Korea.

Picked up the new tsylormsde driver the Q35i I think it is. It’s nice shit my best round in a long time maybe ever shooting a 86. Normally a 90-94 golfer but I don’t get out much. 1 day maybe 2 a week when I’m lucky
Username checks out.
Also, 1 or 2x per week is a shit ton of golf. Though I'm guessing by the typos and run-ons in your post, you may not have been sober when you posted and meant to say per month, not per week.

Call it what you want, it's your site, but at least don't be disingenuous. We all know why you censored him. The hypocrisy of some of you is hilarious. Many of you, when given the opportunity, are exactly what you criticize and hate. LMFAO.
How about you actually defend one of your posts rather than hit and running like you always do? Talk about disingenuous.

2025 GOLF: I don't think the heavy stuff's gonna come down for quite a while

The Austin public golf scene compared to the other big cities in Texas is embarrassing. All of them except Austin have a good assortment of courses at varying price points with many consistently in good condition. The only courses in Austin you can count on for good conditions (Avery, Falcon head, Wolf dancer, TV, Star.... I think that's it) are, as previously noted, egregiously expensive. The other courses in Austin all vary wildly as far as playing conditions and just general course quality. Not to mention the round lengths for the cheaper courses are frustratingly long.
