Poop Cruise Bachelorette party is a friend of my wife. 😆
Haven't watched it yet, but remember when it happened.

Reposting on this page. Crowell today.
Although I just realized that the dates aren't in order, which makes me want to attack the OTF guys with a hammer.
Columns, how do they work?

Proceed with Hammer attack

just binged the last four eps.
wow.
i also was thinking about Vegas, and Pulse nightclub, big ones... and then i was imagining what it was like when they were all little children, Sandy Hook, Uvalde, and then i was like NO I DON'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT THAT AT ALL. fuck.
this felt like Mare of Eastown...just give them all the acting Emmys.
somehow...the old man dying early on, with the grown children, managed to get to me the most. maybe bc it seemed the most likely to be something that probably happens at least once a shift?
i cannot even fathom how a second season could top that, so it will probably suck lol.
"I love you. Thank you, I forgive you. Please forgive me.".....This fucking wrecked me. Watched the episode Sunday.
Today is the 1 year anniversary of my dad's passing and situations were similar other than me and my sister arguing and going against his directives.
All little too close to home on that one.
Wife and I just finished the season tonight. Man, what a ride that was. Non-stop action, great characters, I thought the acting was great.

What a dumb fucking "formula" 😆
Robert Horry also a better legacy than LeBron.

The fact they were able to hang on to all their young talent is amazing.
That's a deep fucking team.

I remember how great Priest Holmes was in his NFL career, but rarely remember his time on The 40. I just remember saying back then that we had “that” in our backfield and didn’t really use his to his ability.
Hook’em!!!
I met him outside Buffalo Club one night. This hits close to home.

finished up dept q last night. it was excellent throughout and did a great job launching into (hopefully) multiple seasons. it's based on a book series and has already been made into several (danish?) movies, so they should have plenty of material.
akram is the man.
The wife and I burned through 5-6 Eps last night...Should finish this weekend.
Great show.
We're suckers for British crime dramas.

Updates from Summer Conditioning
***
– The team is working out four days a week with Wednesdays proving to be a lighter day off of the field from the traditional conditioning days. Majority of days are held inside of DKR for the team to work conditioning with Torre Becton and his staff. There remain days over at Denius practice fields for sand work in the sand and some light hill work.
– Leadership remains strong from the Texas quarterback, Arch Manning. You will hear the cliche of Arch adopting the 2025 roster as his team but that is accurate in terms of the leadership approach being taken.
– Running back CJ Baxter is working out, but remains a little ways away from 100%. For Baxter, it is all about going from step to step in his recovery from a blown out knee. From what I gather, there is still a ways to go for Baxter in terms of returning to full trust with cuts and full start-and-go, as expected, but the steps made to getting on the field have been significant.
James Simon continues to be a name mentioned from the freshman ranks.
– There is plenty of reason to be optimistic about the tight end room as well. I have heard the addition of Jack Endries has been smooth, plus Jordan Washington remains a guy who has found every opportunity to put in extra work.
– A few guys on the offensive line standing out from a leadership perspective – Trevor Goosby and Cole Hutson.
Another nugget on the offensive line is freshman Nick Brooks has done a fine job of refining his body since arriving in Austin. He is on a similar path physically as Cam Williams when he arrived around 360 pounds. Brooks is in the mid 340s now.
– On the defensive side of the ball, I mentioned Jonah Williams earlier in the week as someone referred to as a "freak" by someone I spoke with. That probably isn't a surprise. For Jonah, the key is to add as much of that armor as you can in the time building up to the kickoff in Columbus. The transition from a baseball body to a football body is the priority.
– I remain bullish on Wardell Mack and his contributions this season.
– The regular voices are heard on the defensive side of the ball – Michael Taaffe, Anthony Hill Jr, and Colin Simmons. I can also add Trey Moore is move vocal in year two as a Longhorn as well.
– Safety Derek Williams Jr. is back working fully with the team in offseason workouts. This is just seven months following his torn ACL that occurred against Oklahoma.

While I have been in a few fights in my day, I'm no Billy Badass or anything.
BUT if anyone...elder, female, invalid, teen spits in my face or my wife's face, I will go full-on, hulk style rageaholic.

I and about 10,000 others were in the movie The Rookie (2002) starring Dennis Quad. Just in the crowd of a baseball game.
Friend of mine was in this. He played at St. Ed's and he was one of the players during the tryouts or whatever.
He was also in the Life of David Gale, also filmed in Austin.
Wife has a couple of high school classmates that are actors.
One dude has been in a ton of stuff, minor parts, but big productions. West World, True Detective, True Blood, Law and Order etc..
