  1. There are about 6 tiers of bbq joints between the level of Franklin/craft bbq and that dog food they pass off as bbq at Woody’s.

But you shouldn’t be ordering the BBQ at Woodys. Pretend it doesn’t exist.

It’s the halfway point to Dallas, has more than adequate jerky/kolaches/snacks. It’s perfectly fine as a midway pit stop on that drive.

if he's not able to match or exceed this seasons success the next few seasons..he would possibly be on the chopping block, and certainly not getting a significant extension/raise.

This is dumb.  The three coaches prior to Deion went 6-11, 9-20, and 6-9.  Deion is 27-5 (win percentage of .844).

You really think he would have been on the chopping block with a couple .500 seasons?  That doesn't even address the prominence/publicity he gave the school regardless of the success of the team.

  3. New milestone. Had my first MRI yesterday. Would have been a lot more enjoyable if I got high first. Those mf'ers are loud and make some interesting noises. No results yet, but apparently the tech saw something because he said "Man, that's really gotta hurt" when he was pulling me out of the tube. I wanted to say, "No shit, why do you think I'm here?", but I just said "yep."

Need to go to one where they play music while the MRI occurs. Makes it a lot better.
  4. Probably no one, but he can't just keep losing elections if he wants to make this state or country better.  He's got to get into an office where he can do something and build his resume back up.

He makes the state better by helping down ballot candidates get additional votes which can make the difference between winning and losing. We will see what he does in the future.

I don’t give a fuck about his resume. If he wants to go work in DC tomorrow, Biden will appoint him to something.
  5. Beto just needs to change states or go back to the House or Representatives.  He'd easily win his way back to DC, just not in the type of role he wants.

    Who would have outperformed him?

I’m glad he ran so at least it was someone running for governor who had appeal and could hopefully give some benefit to down ballot candidates in certain areas.
