The Chyna deal was pretty good but just plain sad.  She really spiraled downward pretty quickly.

Anybody watching the WWE lost treasures shows that are on A&E where they try and find old collectibles from the wrestlers?  Last nights was a Ric Flair episode and it was really good as they show a lot of stuff from Ric’s whole career.  One thing I learned was that Conrad guy that did the interviews on Dark Side of the Ring Confidentials is married to Ric Flairs daughter.  He is the big heavy guy with the beard that interviews the two guys that make Dark Side.  I never knew who he was but apparently he is a huge wrestling collector and also part of the Flair family.  It seems he out kicked his coverage with marrying her.

I did know that. I've been listening to his podcasts for years now. He has pods with Bruce Prichard (Brother Love), Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Arn Anderson, Jeff Jarrett, Tony Schaivone, and Kurt Angle. Dude also has a very successful mortgage lending company.

    Outkicked his coverage, meh...

So who watched the 2-hour Chyna episode?

    Fuck, man.

Shit I missed it. I'll pull it up and watch this week. I really wish the Dark Side guys would've done this one.

I think the comedic writing on this show didn't get as much praise as it deserved because the show was so incredible in many other respects.  But those comedic bits were brilliant.

I don't remember the episode, but Christopher is summoned to meet with Tony. As soon as he walks in the door Chrissy says:

"Is this about the Easter baskets?"

T: "I don't even want to know what that means."

Little bits like that still crack me up on rewatches.

  4. Grizzly Smith was giant piece of shit that has led to tragic lives of all his children. Just devastation that continues to haunt him. No telling how many victims he had on the road. Just stopping along the way and picking up random 14 year old girls for the weekend. What's even more fucked up is the parents that would willingly let them go with him. He groomed the parents as well as the kids.

Last night's on the Dynamite Kid was really good. I wasn't as familiar with him since he was before my time. A lot of parallels between between he and Benoit are remarkable.

I would watch the hell out of a Philly mob series. Great source material to work with including some very public wars.

Same. It doesn't get much play like New York or Chicago.

The Box of Rain scene is one of the all time greats. And Linda Cardellini is a total babe. She was hot in Freaks and Geeks. She was hot in Mad Men. And she was hot in 3rd Rock From the Sun.

She was also hot in Bloodline. I celebrate her entire catalogue.

The documentary Beyond the Mat came out over 20 years ago and Jake the Snake is still alive. Amazing

Have you watched The Resurrection of Jake the Snake Roberts? Really, really good. It's remarkable that the guy is still around and doing well. Still as articulate as ever.

Alright. I have a huge problem with Bosch season 3. Who in the ever living fuck eats a tamale with the husk on, sucking out the filling like a goddamn yogurt tube?!?!? Jesus Fing Christ.

I had the same thought watching that scene. What in the actual fuck was that?

Finally started Bosch after it being on my list for years.  Blown through 2 seasons in the past week.  Such a good watch. Extremely well paced and it never drags. Each episode flies by.

    Great show.

The podcast with Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa is fantastic and this week their guest was Steven Van Zandt who talked about his career, Bruce and the show.

Probably my favorite interview they've done, aside from the 2 hours with David Chase.

I'm gonna guess they're saving Sirico for last.

The HBK one on A&E was one of the best yet and got surprisingly the most real cause he works for them now.   But he talked about the yayo (his words) he was doing and pain killers and HHH talking about setting a alarm to check on him every couple hours.  I’m guessing he wanted to be real and open and works for them so he could vs dealing with dead ppl and their families not wanting to be total open.

    Agreed. Really good.

    Also, Marty looks like shit.
