  1. I know y'all shit on 'em a lot, but as a fan of college football I would LOVE seeing Texas play A&M every year again. And UT-Arky as well.
  2. I would think OrangePower
  3. It's 8 conference games now but surely they'd go to 9. If they expanded to 16 but kept 8 conference games, you'd get each team from the other division in Austin once in 16 years.
  4. Checking in on TexAgs:
  5. I'm not most Baylor fans, but I don't get the point in panicking over something I don't control. If the Big XII collapses, I'm just curious to see where it all shakes out. The expanded playoff gives a lot more teams access, so really all I'd care about is hoping we'd end up somewhere with some of the old rivals - hopefully TCU, then Tech, OSU, etc.
  6. Damn I hope they could go ACC. Just such a good fit for them.
  7. Yes and it's glorious
  8. This is solid/ I'd enjoy it, but I think the other 8 would get some looks, particularly ISU, KU, and OSU.
  9. This image is literally the equivalent of watching MTG speak.
  10. So much truth here. I used to read and participate in it regularly years ago, but it's long since become a screaming match between a few extreme internet egos.
  11. SMU is doing well on the recruiting trail right now.

    1) I actually don't mind the lighter/ brighter blue on the jerseys, even though it doesn't match the blue of the helmet star. The bright blue "pops" on TV. 2) Yes, I would much prefer the pants matched the helmet, but... 3) I generally dislike how changes in fabric have made 99% of uniform pants no longer look metallic, which doesn't look good for teams that are supposed to have gold or silver as a color (see pants of Colorado Buffaloes, LV Raiders, Notre Dame, etc.). That being the case, I like that the silver-green pants still have a shine to them.
  13. I remember when Aggy was trying to get something like 5 cents of each student's fees to support a LGBTQ group and students lost their minds. Glad Baylor is doing it even if the hardcore Jesus freaks throw a hissy fit.
  14. I snort laughed at that last line
  15. Ya I'm pretty sure that's a troll
  16. Arky to the south, WVU north.
  17. Jack Trice seems like one of those perpetually underrated stadiums (atmosphere, not the building itself). Hope I can get to a game there someday.
  18. Yep, you can get almost all of the eastern US birds in the eastern half of the state and many of the western birds out in BBNP/GMNP area, plus occasional Mexican species. Easily 500+ of the 800ish regular continental US species are seen in TX each year. Ya, Big Bend has more bird species than any other national park, including one that lives nowhere else in the world (Colima warbler).
